To be fair that was only a select few and you're always going to have fans like that.

I know I didn't blame the loss on the fumble.  The biggest blame goes to the defense that couldn't stop KC in the 2nd half.

I don't remember many people saying Hurts fumble cost us the SB.  A few yes but not many.   Most that I remember said he had a really good game.

I agree, I'm speaking solely about the few here that just rag on him, and I think they would hate on him if he did have that kind of game in a loss.

Yes, the defense giving up 2 TD's on blown coverages imo are why we lost, but *shrugs*

What a terrible week for football. All the games suck except Bills/Lions and that's on the same time as the Eagles.

Don’t worry we got two awful Mnf games to make up for it

It's hard to listen to Achoo, even with his Ph.D. he still has awful takes on just about everything. And Daniels is a huge Hurts hater. I'm all for Daniels criticizing him, cos that's his job, but he could never make any of the throws/plays Hurts does lol

Not sure what the hell BG was thinking, but now this will be a drama all week long. I will say this -- my gut reaction is that this will not spiral like last year. It feels like once a year we get an AJ Brown is unhappy story, and it take a life of its own, and then it calms down. Now, BG's comments have clearly elevated this one, but I feel like this team is better equipped to handle the drama this year. Most importantly -- the collapse last year was mainly a function of the defense collapsing/quitting after the switch to Patricia (offense played well against the NYG at home and Cardinals). That's not on the table this year (I'm confident in saying Vic is keeping his job).

My personal, uninformed opinion is that Jalen has overcorrected and become too cautious throwing the ball to avoid turnovers. Looking at his YPA, he went 10.6, 8.1, 11.8, 9.6, 10.1 from the CLE game through the DAL game. It was the DAL game where Diggs got the end zone pick. Since then, his YPA are 7.9, 8.1, 6.2 and 5.1. Nick needs to do his job and tell him to let it rip when it is there. He's gone 3 straight games under 200 yards total, and 2 games now with his YPA below 6.2 (ATL and TB were 6.1 and 5.3, respectively). The amazing part is we have won the last 3 games despite it, where we lost the games to ATL and TB.

We'll know on Sunday. If they go out and beat the Steelers, then this brought them together. If they look uninterested, we are in real trouble.

Really wasn’t either of those guys talking. It was James jones.

I don’t give a crap about anything else acho said, I wanna know who the two guys that fought each other outside a cold tub in 2015, and on the Super Bowl team in 2017.

I saw the whole segment on YT, not just that clip. If I remember correctly, they all agreed he was missing the open guys, but Chase especially has been down on Jalen all season.

You have to bear in mind Daniel is tight with Wentz and was here with him in 2016.

Tend not to listen to Daniel or acho. I tend to think James jones keeps it pretty honest about things. The other two tend to have their agendas about things.

Notice how the "unselfish" AJ creates the most locker room wreckage when they win?

Weird.

My favourite example of teammates not getting along...

Percy Havin punching Golden Tate the night before the Super Bowl. Seattle won 43-8.
Harvin had a return TD.

Jones is the best on that show. Acho is insufferable, and Daniel is just an idiot. Shady is entertaining but not that insightful.

Jones saying Hurts was the issue Sunday isn't wrong -- it's factual. I'm not a Hurts basher at all, and I also accept he's here for a while given his contract. So I ignore the "we should draft a QB" nonsense. We need Hurts to play better because he's going to be our QB for at least 2 more seasons.

Be prepared for a stinker this week. They will come out throwing the ball 40 times and running it 20.

Surprised you didn't refer to Wentz as a mediocre ginger 🤔

(kidding, btw)

Slow starts have been a problem all season and I think Moore needs to give Hurts some help there.  An offense functions best when everyone is involved, so script the first 10-12 plays to get everyone involved and going.  First play can be a run to Saquon to get him and the OL firing off the line.  Get in front of the sticks and mix up those plays with slants to AJ and DeVonta -- quick, high percentage throws to get everyone moving forward and in rhythm.  Draw the defense up and make them declare pre-snap, then you can attack them 1-on-1 to the outside.

The sooner everyone gets a touch, the sooner you'll see everyone on the same page.

It's possible that it's not that big a deal, just frustration in the passing game (Hurts, play calling, a WR who wants touches) and immediately after a game their emotions are high. BG thought he was helping by inserting himself and interpreting to avoid media issues, but he made it worse. When I heard him say "they were friends before" I took that context to mean they've been friends a long time before AJ joined the team so they will sort this out. But who knows?

This is why teams should keep everything in house and not make statements in the media.

And look I don’t believe they’ve fallen out recently. I think this dates back to last year and they’ve not gotten on since. And until now it hasn’t been a problem. I think there is a world where the team can succeed and these 2 aren’t friends. It’s sad for them that it’s reached that point but I’m sure there are plenty of team mates who don’t like each other. They just need to make sure to keep it in house and not derail the season.

I think he’s here until at least after 2025. At that point it’s questionable based on how things go in the playoffs over those two years cause trading him at that point (the dead money is what it is) the cap hit is under a mil and same with a a post June 1st cut according to overthecap

i’ve said this from the beginning of the season. The way this season plays out and how he looks in the playoffs is going to determine a lot. I think he’s clearly back in 2025 due to the contract. if he’s fine in the playoffs and he looks good, they’re gonna keep moving forward with him for the foreseeable future. But if they lose and howie/luire/FO believe he is the guy that holds them back from winning a Super Bowl, i think the wheels begin to be put in motion. I think just like 2022 they will begin to get their ducks in a row. I don’t think they will draft a quarterback, but then again I can’t say that definitively because I didn’t think they take a second round quarterback when they just gave Carson the money they did. Different reasons for it but i don’t rule out them doing it and using "qb factory”

A comment I was going to make after the game, before the stupidity ensued....the coaches have leaned too far in to the running game.

I get why with how great Saquon has been, but this has always been one of Sirrianis issues. He doesn't really understand subtlety. When something works, he SPAMS the F out of it.

I want the offense go to through Barkley, but not to the tune of 65% running.

It needed to be balanced out, even before AJ decided to act like a chick.

The ticky tack/phantom PI penalty on Bradberry didn’t help either.

I don't think there's beef between Hurts and AJ.  That's just media trying to stir things.  My guess is they are still friends.  Maybe not best friends but still cool with each other.

AJ is just saying out loud what most of us already know.  The passing offense needs to be better.

Dude come on… The media isn’t trying to stir things up here. AJ said what he said and BG then felt the need to say more on it. There’s no getting away from that and what was said.
