That's burying your head in the sand.  It's an issue, one that likely will bite them in their backside eventually.  One does not simply spot playoff opponents a double digit lead at the beginning of the game and complete a run through the playoffs to the Super Bowl.

The 10-1 team last year created challenges for itself too.  That ended well.  😕

If Jalen can get back into the realm of 200yd passing/gm, that will right the ship. I think that means either becoming more efficient or hit on some big plays. He has shown the ability for the latter.

$240 million and we'd be happy if he's hitting 200 passing yards per game. Great!

No, not happy, but likely can still compete in the NFC amongst the playoff contenders.

I can live with the Hurts throw aways. As long as he's avoiding sacks and INTs. Small steps.

"Oh, this grass feels nice.”

Giants still catching strays. 😂

And fumbles. That's what he eliminates by not scrambling around, his tendency to fumble. Its the best of negative choices, IMO

He has been holding onto the ball waaaaaaaaay too long this season. Its one of the weaknesses and leads to a lot of sacks despite our OL being a strength of the team.

Its one of my concerns going into this week.....TJ Watt and Steelers could wreck the game if Hurts decides to hold onto the ball for 3.5 - 4.0 secs on average.

There were some bashing our OL saying they needed to be better in here.

Not sure they've ever watched football before, but, here we are.

They just say no ones open and that's why he's holding it

Carolina is favored in a game for the first time in two years… and it’s Dallas

Carolina might beat both the Giants and the Cowboys this year.  For a 4 win team... that's a feat.  (I'm not sure there's another win on their schedule.)

Can we petition the league to start all our games with the 2nd quarter?

Maybe they could just have 2 2nd quarters and 2 halftimes.   Then we'd really own the first half.

@ 70% completion % with 40 yards rushing and 2-3 total TD’s, zero turnovers and most importantly a WIN.

Yes - all the way to the Super Bowl

We should be WAY past this. They paid him like a top QB. Now we're settling for 200 yard passing games and throwing the ball away in stead of INTs and sacks.

so game manager.

I don’t give a crap about anything else acho said, I wanna know who the two guys that fought each other outside a cold tub in 2015, and on the Super Bowl team in 2017.

18 guys on both rosters: Sproles, Barner, Aghalor, Ertz, Burton, Peters, Kelce, Lane, Curry, Graham, Cox, Beau, Hicks, Kendricks, Jenkins, Jaylen Watkins, Maragos and Donnie Jones.

My pick is Darren Sproles smacked Aghalor or Donnie Joens.

Some of you guys don’t get it.  Game managers don’t end up scoring 30-40 total TD’s with over 3500 - 4000 yards of total offense at 70% completion % with over a 100 QB rating.

He would be a top 10 NFL QB with those stats and even ranked higher if he gets to a Super Bowl and likely top 5 if he wins one.

Not sure two or three TDs gets it done in Detroit.

I know a TD is a TD, but I have a hard time including the 1 yard tush push in to Hurts being a great QB.

He has 16 passing TDs through 13 games, putting him on pace for 21 TDs. From a throwing standpoint, that's game manager level.

Exactly. 240 total yards from a QB who is plenty when you also have the top running game and he is being efficient and getting TDs. Focus on an efficient offense - high numbers in completion %, YPA for the passing game, and then for the offense as a whole Points / drive. That is a winning formula.

Admittedly, those stats havent been great last couple of games.

You guys keep saying stuff like this like he's not middle of the pack in salary. Yes he's getting paid a lot, but not overly for the position.

There's a lot more to how the contract is structured than just the cap hit; Howie structured it to minimize cap hit, but the tradeoff is the Eagles are tied to Hurts through 2026 with almost no decent escape clause.  For the version of Hurts we saw in 2022 that's great news.  For the 2024 version putting up 22 points and 108 yards passing against the Panthers -- not so great.

3+’TD’s by Hurts, another 1-2 by Barkley, add a FG or two - with our defense, I like our chances anywhere

If you didn't hate Favre already...

Favre was getting sacked on that play no matter what.  By the time he turns around, Strahan is already in his face and he's got nowhere to go.

Gastineau's gotta go ahead and move on with his life
