Ok so you would prefer a QB who passes for 40 TD’s and 5000 yards but wins 3-4 games a season?

Has nothing to do with the conversation and it's a false dilemma, but all right.

Maybe you should pack it in for the evening

It’s not a false dilemma.  Winning is a huge part of a QB’s stats - IT’s the reason QB’s and everyone else on the team plays the game and yes, the best NFL QB’s WIN.

Tom Brady is the GOAT why?  Because he passed for 4000 yards a season for 15 years or is it because he won 7 Super Bowls?

IT’S BECAUSE HE WON 7 SUPER BOWLS

And who has orchestrated the overwhelming majority of wins this season alone?

Saquon Barkley

Which is why using wins as your argument in favor of Hurts isnt the argument to be making.

Alone? Really?

That is profoundly stupid.

I meant that as in this season, specifically.

Could've made that more clear so that's my bad, but I think most people understood it.

Maybe you're profoundly stupid 🤷‍♂️

The Patriots did.

He won a Superbowl throwing 145 and a TD. Was he the reason? Or was it just as much, if not more the defense that held the vaunted Rams offense to 17?

Brady is still great and he's a massive reason. I'm not taking that away from him, but let's not pretend he didn't have one of the best coaches of all time and some great teams too.

It's a team game

We are likely on our way to a 15 win season, the best in the damn near hundred year history of this franchise.

And we and the team are f’in miserable.

Only in Philadelphia…

If the Eagles don’t believe in Hurts then we’ll have a new QB next season. They aren’t going to waste next year.

How? They can’t cut him, the cap hit would be likely insane.

They cant trade him because he has a no trade clause, and likely cap hit reasons too.

Solak on NFL Week 14: Are the Eagles, Rams legit contenders? - ESPN

Good article by Solak on the Eagles offense w evidence of a number of the missed throws from last game which is what many of us have said was one of his worst games this year.

I do believe a lot of the aspects about the Eagles offense are Hurts-driven e.g. simple passing game concepts (multiple coaches have decided this is the best way to go), lack of play-action, not utlising the intermediate middle of the field, slow time to throw etc.

I think he is currently (last two weeks in particular) battling with two issues: he is generally a slower processer of information and his effort to avoid turnovers has made him go way to conservative that he isnt anticipating breaks / trusting his eyes fully.

That is not to say you cant have a successful offense with him - you can and he has proven that before. And its not all negative with Hurts as he has some excellent traits to offset the weaknesses in his game: namely being a super hard worker and dilligent, comes up clutch in big moments, adds a running game threat which the D always needs to account for etc.

To maximise the O, coaches need to focus on two key things: 1) Talking to him about trusting his eyes and letting it rip when he sees there is a play to be made - there is a happy medium for minimising turnovers but still making plays - somehwere in between where he was at start of the year and now (he was operating at that level in that middle stretch of games post the bye week). 2) Getting plays into him sooner to give him a little more time at LOS (Vikas made the point earlier that he has looked best as a passer when we have gone no huddle and getting into formation with 15-20 secs to go).

Tom was a reason they were winning. Hurts is just along for the ride. He’s a beneficiary of the stacked all pro roster around him.

WTH are you talking about?

He’s 11-2 THIS SEASON

The Eagles are 11-2 this season.

Hurts is contributing to that mostly with his legs.  He has objectively shown to be limited as a passer.  The majority here are concerned if a game flow requires him to contribute significantly with his arm.

Have a good evening.  Like you, all but a few here enjoy the wins

Because winning a SB is the goal not winning regular season games.

No one is miserable. Everyone is glad we're winning, but we'd like to see improvement in glaring areas and are discussing them...on a board made for discussion...

The only thing worse than a "miserable" fan are the Nancy's that wet their pants about it constantly

Because if the passing game doesn't come to life in the next few weeks, Eagles will have a short postseason. QB needs to figure it out

No the only thing worse are trolls like you who show up every Sunday and Monday to over-emphasize the flaws and blast your narrative. You are more like an anti-fan...you would rather see the Eagles fail to justify your narrative and fill the pages with low level thinking and ITYS's.

Name another NFL QB that runs that play at a 90% success rate.

FYI, any of you gents out there cat calling last week? Wonder how this would look if the tables were turned🤣 This is from the Philadelphia Eagles Fan Group on FB.

Missed connection and complete long shot—
Leaving the Eagles game I was walking through parking lot S next to Citizens Bank Park and a very cute guys was getting into the back drivers side seat of a pickup truck. As I passed he yelled "you’re so beautiful, I just wanted you to know that” so something along the lines of that. Of course I was shy and a little stunned so just yelled thank you! I was so flattered.
Anyways, I should have stopped and exchanged numbers but missed my opportunity! By the time I had the guts to turn around, they were driving away. If anyone happens to know a group of 4 or 5 guys that went to the game and drove a darker grey or gold/grey pickup truck with 4 door type body, parked in citizen lot, please pass this along! Tall and white with facial hair. Got into the 2nd row on driver side. Figured worth a shot these days since apps sucks and this never happens! I know this doesn’t narrow it down much. 🤦‍♀️. Here’s what I was wearing

He’s at least a top 15 NFL QB and likely top 10 on most people’s charts.

He's probably the 6th best qb in his own conference

We all deserve less Jason Kelce in our lives at this point.  Time for him to back away.
