Think I'm the only person I know that has TO as a better WR than Moss

Why is that?

Because Moss was better?

He wasn't.  TO is the 2nd best WR of all time.  Dominated his entire career no matter where he played and what QB was throwing to him.  Could have played a lot longer too if the league didn't black ball him.

Idk why people are crapping on burrow. The bengals offense is scoring 28 ppg and essentially tied for 5th most in the nfl. The bengals have scored 30 points and are 2-4 cause their defense gave up on average 34.3 points. If burrow had the eagles defense they might be competing for the top seed in the afc. Their offense isn’t the issue with that team outside of week 1 where crazy crap happens all around the league. Eagles nearly lost to New England last year in week one and that New England team was just as bad

Their defense is as bad and some areas worse than the eagles in 2023. Bengals defense ranks 29th in points allowed (27.7ppg), 23rd against the run (130.3 yards per game), 27th against the pass (235) and total defense 26th (365.5 yards per game allowed). Average 1.1 takeaways per game. The eagles defense last year was 30th in points allowed (25.3ppg), 11th against the run (104 yards per game), 30th against the pass (255 yards per game) and total defense 26th (360 yards per game). 2023 eagles averaged 1 takeaway per game.

I don't know either. Shared a facebook post with some comments from an Eagles group I saw that said Burrow would be 5-8 with the Eagles because he sucks

They're both great. Their numbers are very similar. Moss was definitely better at stretching the field, but their yards per reception are less than a yard apart.

Moss gets a slight nod in the playoffs, but he also played a few more games.

As for Owens, while he also had his personality issues, I don't think he would half ass on the field anywhere near as much. I think he'd be far more willing to block. He has an extra all pro. We all watched him play and put up a huge game in the Super Bowl off of a recently broken leg.

I also think that he could've played longer, but was kind of forced out. Moss seemed to really hit a wall toward the end. Owens dropped damn near 1000 yards and 9 TDs his last season at 37.

They're both great. They're both very close. I'm not upset at people picking Moss instead, but for me I think TO is a very slight smidge above

Off topic but Justin Jefferson by the time he’s done might be top 3 wr we’ve ever seen. He’s had 5 consecutive 1000 yard seasons and one year he played 10 games. Hes doing it with darnold and did it with cousins. If he plays 12 years he’s on pace for 17,829 yards, 1176 receptions and 95 tds. Would make him 2nd in receiving yards, 5th in receptions (3rd for WRs as Tony Gonzalez and witten ahead of him) and 11th for receiving tds for a WR. At that pace for 15 seasons he’d be 600ish yards and 80 receptions away from Jerry rice.

Fun hypothetical topic is if you switched burrow and hurts what would you think the eagles would be like and what would the bengals be like?

This is a toss up for me.

I think Randy Moss needed the right QB to take FULL advantage of his skills. Not taking anything at all from Randy Moss, but he was best pushing the ball downfield, having a QB trust him to either run by the DB or make acrobatic catches or "Moss" them. It was always a treat to see him take a slant to the house though too.

TO could be used all over the field. He could bully guys at the LOS. He could run past DBs. He could shrug off LB on a slant and take it to the house. He could outmuscle anyone to catch the ball.

I don't know who I'd rather have.

Its Moss

TO had drops issues and was a lousy diva

Rest my case that its Moss

I'll get called a hater but I honestly think we'd be undefeated. No idea about Hurts with Bengals but it wouldn't be good. Bengals don't have our line or RB

Stats wise, yea, he'll be up there. However, like Kirk Cousins, his stats just feel empty to me. Maybe it's just the Vikings, but it feels like he's putting up numbers that don't mean anything. Not sure if I'm explaining it right but as good as he is, his gaudy numbers just feel blah.

I get that. But normally people just cite the passing yards, the 108 next to Jalen's name. I've seen several cite 83 net passing yards this week because it makes him look even worse. All the places that show the passing stats for that game or the season or game logs on ESPN don't show net until you click a few times into the full box score. We don't do that for other QBs around the league, and we don't normally do it even for Hurts.

Sure for QB stats.

If you are talking about the efficiency / contribution of passing game overall to the offence, net is the more correct number to use in my view. I’ve cited 83 yards several times to argue that it was putrid / practically non-existent last week and we need to improve.

Here’s to hoping they start getting it fixed this week

This just reminded me of Mike Evans possibly breaking his streak

The Eagles would be undefeated with Burrow and this defense.

Easiest pick in the world and Howie screwed it up.

Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Burrow are in a top tier by themselves in my view.

Herbert is knocking on the door but between injuries and a little inconsistent play, I wouldn’t quite put him there.

I thought Hurts was on their way there in 2022 but that hasn’t happened.

Idk i feel like without him the Vikings aren’t nearly as relevant. Hes pretty damn good. I feel like they’ve let him down more than he’s let the Vikings down. He’s on pace to go over 1400 yards this year. Meaning 4 out of 5 years he did that. Only year he didn’t was 2023 where he missed 7 games and he was on pace to do it then too. If Jefferson reaches 1500 he’d have done that 3 of 5 seasons. I get more of a passing league now but kind of ridiculous numbers. Tbh better Qb play (not saying darnolad or cousins suck) he probably have more TD passes and maybe even better numbers.

Yeah i think they’ve established themselves as that. I think Herbert could eventually join them. Hard to judge Herbert right now cause first time he’s had a non moron as HC and  the chargers basically have Joshua Palmer, mcconkey, Quentin Johnston, Will dissly, jk dobbins, Gus Edwards as his weapons this year as they were in bad cap shape. Frankly if they had better weapons i could see them being better than the chiefs. Im actually surprised they didn’t try to make a move at the deadline. I figure they go after Higgins in FA

I think they’d be close to the same record. I still think that Bucs game we lose. Basically had trash at WR with smith and brown out and the defense was awful. I do think the eagles wouldn’t have to be as heavily reliant on Barkley

Maybe a sex tape was stolen from his home with him and another dude.  He's upset because he doesn't want the world to know he's ghay.

Or maybe it's something else....
