i’m guessing they elect not to do that. But if they did they potentially could get a top six pick and use it as either an asset next off-season or could use it to draft a kid that you could use on the wing for the future.  Sixers have surprising done a good job identifying quality talent in the first round since Morey has come here.

The player most teams will be angling for is AJ Dybantsa in the 2026 draft.  He just signed with BYU.  If the Sixers do get a top 5 pick in the 2025 draft  I'd like them to figure out how to get in the draft lottery for 2026 with that 2025 pick for a chance at Dybantsa.  Cooper Flagg is at least one notch below Dybantsa.
