It's a tricky needle to thread for the Niners, as far as we're concerned. If they can miss the playoffs while also giving the Lions and Packers losses, that'd be ideal. But if they win those two games, that puts them in better position to catch the Cardinals for first place. Tricky indeed.

I’m ok with the Niners giving the Lions a loss, but I don’t hate or fear the Packers, so I 100% want GB to hand SF a loss tomorrow.

And Purdy and Bosa aren't playing.....Green Bay beats SF dropping their chances down, and then SF gets healthier and beats the Lions for us?  That could work!

I can see Detroit losing to GB coming up.  I think they play on TNF.

For those saying we can't get the #1 seed cuz Detroit will win out.......I don't see it.  Lions could absolutely lose another game or 2.

That's my hope.

I tend to agree. It's very difficult to maintain that intensity every week, and Detroit has has some close games that could have gone either way.

Unfortunately, that standard goes for us as well, so...

It may be difficult to surpass the Lions for #1, so I definitely don't want to lose #2. The West should keep beating each other, and since Tampa and Atlanta have head to head wins over us, I just want them to keep getting losses to stay safely behind.

They will need to lose at least 1, but then the Eagles need to win out.  And if they lose 2, the Eagles still might need to win out, depending on who they lose to.

It's a tall order.  Ultimately, the Lions are in the best position, and rightly so.  They have handled their business as well as anyone in the league so far.  They've earned to be where they are.  The Eagles squandered the game against Atlanta.  Bad coaching, poor execution on a play and more bad coaching.

No need to worry about the Bucs passing the Eagles.  They have 6 losses.  I don't see 4 more losses for the Eagles.  All it will take is one win versus the Rams, Ravens, Steelers and Washingteam... then handle their business as they should against the Panthers, Giants and Cowboys...  and that's 12-5.  Bucs can't catch them.  Falcons could, but they'd have to win out, and they just aren't that team.

The team to still worry about is Washingteam.  Gotta win the second matchup and lock down that tie breaker while giving them another loss.  If that one win mentioned above is against them, that seals the division as Washingteams record would max out at 12-5 also, but the Eagles would have the tiebreaker.

Fully agree.

We beat Washington again and nothing else really matters. If we lose to Washington, then we basically have to go 5-1 in the other games.

That's doable, but tough.  We are gonna learn a lot coming off a mini bye going to LA.  Can this team keep up their defensive momentum against a good offense and find a way to score enough points without Smith to win?  Then they only need a split against the Steelers and Ravens to get to that 5-1 mark while holding serve against 3 of the worst teams in the NFL.

But Washington's schedule is cake the rest of the eay, except for the Eagles game.  Eagles need to take care of business themselves. They cant rely on others to do it for them.

Definitely not overlooking Washington. It’s going to be a long shot, but I’d prefer Dallas have at least one more point when their game is over tomorrow. I can’t bring myself to say that I want Dallas to wi…

I’ll just say I want Dallas to have one more point. That’s the best I can do.

I am not worried about the Bucs with regards to seeding.

I just don't want to see them come into the Linc on Wildcard Weekend and wreak havoc on defense.

While I've seen both sadly, the ones I watched last night were drugged out parents who either murdered or neglected their children. Just freaking heartbreaking stuff

I could never watch anything like that. Sounds horrible. On the other hand, I’ve been addicted for quite some time to videos of First Amendment auditors. They are people who often record people from the sidewalk or go into public buildings to do so. (It has to be public, not private, or it doesn’t work). It’s amazing how many employees lose their minds and call the cops. They’ll frequently argue that the person with the camera is "causing a disturbance” when in fact they are the ones who are doing so. What’s disgusting is how often the cops arrive, do no investigation whatsoever, take the word of the complainant, refuse to identify, act rudely, don’t understand the law, and either force the cameraman (who has done nothing illegal) to leave under threat of arrest or actually arrest them. Videos like this can really make the blood boil. The best videos are the ones where the cops arrive and actually know the law and explain to the people that people are actually allowed to record in public.

Go Eagles.

Yup....off to LA...looking forward to participating in the green wave at Sofi.

John Ramsey is still going on TV at 80 years old to promote some new documentary about an imaginary intruder and throw B.S. at the police department to "investigate and solve the murder”.  Sadly, he seems to enjoy being on TV now.

Everyone knows your son did it, John.  You succeeded in stonewalling investigators and contaminating evidence at the crime scene.  Just be happy the D.A. didn’t indict you in the 90s as the grand jury recommended.

Indiana looks like they mean business today.

Looking at the games tomorrow and all the games suck.

Not his son, him. He killed his own daughter.

That was a big stop by IU.

They went three plays without a commercial break. Is that allowed in college football?
