You are the one that brought it up.  You can also take it to CVON.

What did I bring up?  I made a joke.

You mentioned Rodgers' decision to not get the Covid vaccine, joking or not.  You opened the door, and someone walked through it.

Agreed.  That is one of the prime functions of humor.

And then you suggest someone responding directly to your joke take it to CVON.  Maybe your joke is best reserved for CVON as well.

Maybe my "Take it to CVON" was humor as well.  You might want to lighten up Jordan.

I don't know if you've seen the video for this on YT but the main topic of conversation in the comments is a glass of water.

I haven’t but now I’m definitely going to check it out

Pretty dirty shot by the Kansas player

I got my turkey for free.  :P.   400 bonus rewards points from Giant grocery stores.

A free turkey is still more valuable than these tickets 😂

Yup.  That's a dirty hit in today's football.   That was even called dirty when Andre Waters was doing that to Jim Everett.

Hey Franklin... you can call timeout too.

People talking about the idea of bringing in Daniel Jones as a backup for Hurts.  Idk how I feel about the idea, I guess as a backup he wouldn't be the worst option out there, certainly would be way better than Pickett.

I know it’s tradition but I can’t imagine going to the game this Thanksgiving.  Frankly, I can only think an Eagles fan could enjoy the likely tomfoolery that includes these two QBs only because they are our most hated competition.  Frankly, no matter which team or both embarrass themselves on Thursday, I will probably enjoy the misery. Our the turkey and the play will put me to sleep.

How? What has he accomplished that should make anyone feel he is better than Pickett? I have a feeling Pickett wouldn't be horrible if we saw him with the 1st string offense. But let's, for the sake of argument, say he is bad --- well ... so is Jones. Jones isn't being replaced because of a bad GM, he's being replaced because he's just not good. 69 starts is plenty of proof. We could have brought Wentz back as a backup when he was jobless. That would have been 10 times better than bringing in Jones right now.

Jones will go the route of Darnold or Mayfield if he’s lucky.  A team with a good QB/offensive mindset will re-set him and make him look decent in a backup role.  He’s got a place in this league, just not as a starter.

But no, I think I’d take Pickett over him at this point for familiarity with the system/team.  But Jones does offer mobility that some coach out there will value

Back in 2008, a friend got a free pair of tickets to the Thanksgiving night game in Philly against the Cardinals.  If you recall, McNabb was benched the previous week, against the Ravens and was two weeks removed from not knowing that a regular season game could end in a tie, after they tied the Bengals (and even wondered aloud about how that would work out in the playoffs)...

Anyway, my friend and I were not expecting great things that night.  We discussed how lopsided the game would have to be for us to leave... and we agreed a 3 TD lead would be the mark.  Of course, if you remember, the Eagles got the first 3 TDs in that game and we looked at each other and said, "We're here, we might as well just stay and see the conclusion of this."  It was a great night and it was my first time being at the Linc after having been a season ticket holder at the Vet.  Very nice seats too... roughly the 30 yard line and about 15 rows up in the lower bowl.

He won't last to #32.

I was reading the pregame write ups about tomorrow’s game and ESPN chose to write about the Rams preparing for the Tush Push.  As I was reading their write up it occurred to me that one variation on the Tush Push could be a Barkley leap over the top of the scrum.

Thoughts?

In isolation that would make sense, but is a succession plan at TE the most valuable way to use our 1st round pick?

If the Eagles are picking #32 would you trade that pick for a 2025 pick #52 in the Second Round plus 2025 pick #116 in the Fourth Round plus a 2026 Second Round pick?

Depends on his 40.  Nice tool, as PSU, especially the new OC,  use him but not sure he is a 1st rounder. Lousy first round draft but good dependable depth  in 2025.
