I'm still rolling over the FIRST line item they ever posted was off by a factor of 1000. And if there's anything we know about Trump, it's that the quality of his support staff decreases with time. It's only gonna get worse

The difference between $8,000,000 and $8,000,000,000 is pretty easy to spot just by looking at it.

However, anyone with any analysis capability would have realized that number wasn't correct.

That's a parenting failure. Parents should be reading to their children every single night and they should be close to reading before they even get into school.

Licenses can be sold in large blocks (bulk licensing) to save money (or multi-user licensing can be used). Buying licenses as you go for each new user would be WAY more expensive. He also claimed there were "unused" VSCode licenses. VSCode is free. If he confused VSCode with Visual Studio then I highly question his IT acumen. In summary, I'd sit this one out, chief.

Because the parents were giving her the passing grades and pushing her through the system. This isn't a one time problem. This is a US system failure 4-5 generations in the making. The government intentionally assuming more and more control and parents willing to let it happen.

Again, you don't understand how software licensing works. You are quite literally out of your element. This is such a laughable claim by Musk to anyone who actually works in the field. This isn't even me trying to insult you. It's just obvious you don't know how this works. Musk really has no excuse though.

I wonder how many of the unused licenses are from "probationary employees" now engaged in class action lawsuits against the federal govt. At the end of the day though Musk doesn't need to say anything accurate. He only needs to convince the ignorant, lazy, and dumb that they were right all along.

The government also gets steep discounts on software licensing and in some case doesn't pay anything at all. This is equivalent to digging in the couch cushions for change. From an actual savings perspective DOGE is already a failure.

Yeah if they're starting to dig into unused software license fees they're getting desperate. To be sure it's worth looking into. But you have to balance that against the cost of G-15 employees devoting however much time. If you have a team of 5 employees making $125k/year or whatever spending a month to identify $10k in unused licenses that's a pretty stupid deployment of capital.
