I think Eagles have a real shot at winning but a lot of people are taking the Chiefs way too lightly. Mahomes is 106-26 in games as a starter. Out of those 26 losses only 4 have been by double digits.

If Eagles can play a complete team game like they last Sunday, they should win. But I think either way it will probably be close and tight all game.

I think we are the underdogs in this game. Certainly capable of winning but I dont think most neutral fans would favour us to win.

Mahomes is just something else in these sort of games.

Ok, so we are now a few days removed from the NFCCG.

What’s everyone’s early feeling about the game?

As of right now, I don’t love the idea of playing KC.

Hopefully that’s just some early PTSD. Logically, we should be able to beat them with our roster, except no one ever does.

We are the superior team even though everyone thinks they will win due to their recent dynasty and having the best QB in the league. They weren’t that good this year, just insanely lucky.

Similar to 2017 vs the Pats. I expect a similar outcome. If the refs call it down the middle we will win.

Does Howie swallow the big cap hit on Elliott this offseason? His job is on the line in 2 weeks, if he misses any chip shots and or misses a critical field goal. Even with the cap hit. This is a wart on an almost indestructible team Howie has built. He just about has to be flawless in this game IMO.

He’s kicking in a dome in the SB.  No excuses for any missed kicks, period.

Be careful out there

He would but he’s probably not paying attention to the Sixers

I feel straight up, we can play with and beat anyone, anywhere. But just can't shake the feeling that KC will get a call when they need it.

Hurts is able to replicate on Sunday, we win by 10 plus.

This team is loaded with talent that it might be just good enough to win it the Hurts we seen most of the year.

I think Jalen Carter can wreck a game by himself and think next Sunday will be his coming out party.

People forget falling at certain angles can be deadly. Adding in the height just makes it more. Hopefully they recover

It has to be a decisive win if they’re going to pull it off. Pretty much like how Tampa handled them in their Super Bowl. If the game comes down to one possession, Mahomes has too much devil magic and there is always the the ref scenario waiting to rear its ugly head.

I hope Fangio cooks up a masterpiece of a gameplan and wrecks the game.

Chiefs were without both tackles though

The refs have been SUCH a point of discussion i think may actually go invisible on purpose

They've been a huge presence even in the championship games. I doubt anything comes of it in the offseason but you should expect at least 1 messed up call that influences the game

I don't bet but it just made me think of it... are there bets on refs?

LeBron making AJ and the rest of the Eagles players look tiny.

Don't take it, Kellen, we need continuity. Take your name out of the running.

I expect Andy to target Burks, Blankenship, and even DeJean in coverage. Surprisingly, no team has tried to attack DeJean after Thielen cooked him - thinking Andy does.

Yep. Every team has a route runner like Thielen.

Okay I give up

AJ, Dotson, Devonta… ????

Kinda sorta looks like Ainis Smith if he was 30

Is the Senior Bowl always this early?  The Eagles have a long history of drafting guys from the game. I'm sure they have scouts there but they usually have coaches there too. I wonder how that will impact their draft plans if at all. After looking, yeah it is always this early. For some reason I thought it was after the Super Bowl.

Their post Super Bowl drafts have been:

2018: Dallas Goedert, Avonte Maddox, Josh Sweat, Matt Pryor, Jordan Mailata

2023: Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Tyler Steen, Sydney Brown, Kelee Ringo, Tanner McKee, Mori Ojomo

Damn, if the trend continues, Howie should nail this next draft.

Man, looking back, Howie has absolutely killed the drafts since 2018. They have at least 25 starters/contributors that are home grown. 2019 and 2020 were terrible, but brought the Eagles Hurts and Miles Sanders. But the rest, my goodness.
