People are overlooking the Eagles blowout scenario because they're so afraid of the Chiefs, but it's a legit possibility.

I think the Chiefs will have to win a close game because they're not an explosive offense and I can't see them shutting down the Eagles offense.   But the Eagles could easily get a quick score or two in a short amount of time to create a lead.

If you ask Chiefs fans, we're one of the worst playoff teams that happened to get here in a weak NFC and we're going to get absolutely slaughtered

Especially with the replay reviews. Clement and Ertz TD’s were clearly fair but I still hear Collinsworthless in my head saying "I dunno….”

Ertz yes but i still think we got very lucky with Clements catch standing

Really only one super bowl has been like that, broncos-seahawks. Id love it, but the NFL will never let that happen again

SB 50 between Carolina and Denver was a blowout as well. But yeah, I would be absolutely stunned if this game resembles those.

They are projecting since they eeked by all season and played no one but the bills

I think this was already posted, but just for reference here, if there is ever a movie made about Robert De Niro I think Vic should play him.

Diana Russini thinks the OC is gonna be Patullo.

I really don't see it. They didn't like him enough to give him the job last season, promoting from within has failed miserably for them, and they dedicated the entire offseason last year to ensure they'll move away from a Sirianni style offense.

If we win the SB, Nick has more than earned the right to hire his guy.

Cool story.

That’s what got Doug fired.

Would you trade a SB win on Sunday for a couple of years of Patullo?

Hell YES!

Legitimately shocked how many people are picking the Chiefs. Put these picks everywhere in the hotel room.

Yup

It shouldn’t surprise anyone. If we look at this game from a neutral perspective, it’s a toss up. On paper, Philly is better at most positions. Games aren’t won on paper though and you have to give it to the Chiefs… "all they do is win”.

We’re going to need some of those lucky bounces to go our way during the game, just like when we took down Brady and his dynasty.

Really?   They are the two-time defending champs, and they beat the Eagles two years ago.   This is another David vs Goliath situation for the Eagles.  Back in 2017, it seemed like everyone was riding with the Patriots, except Kyle Brandt.   I would feel weird if they were riding with the Eagles.  It just feels comfortable.  There were people predicting a Washington win in the NFC CG.   I like the us against the world mentality.

Doug got fired because he wanted more say in how to assemble the team and Howie wasn’t allowing it.

And you can’t blame Doug for that after Howie took Reagor over Jefferson

NFL is going to do everything in their power so that they three peat. They're likely going to get their thirteenth consecutive playoff game winning the penalty battle on Sunday.

It doesn't happen that many times consecutively by accident

I'm curious why the NFL would want that?  I would think they would prefer the mystique of it never happening to continue.

I'm surprised at all the high scoring predictions. These are two pretty damn good defenses, has the feel to be a 24-21 type of game to me.

Swift, Roger, age of social media. We'll see. I'm still pissed about the holding call on JB when they missed the blatant hold by their OL.

It just keeps happening this year, so it's hard to call it a coincidence.

Doesn’t have to be one of the other. In fact, you could make the case if we win, why change and go back to the formula that didn’t work? The formula that’s working is not allowing Sirianni to pick his guy.

lol yeah sure guys, we’re in the Super Bowl like 60% because of Fangio - a clear Howie hire - but yeah let Nick pick his buddies to be coordinators

Because "eventually it has to happen" and Mahomes is the chosen one.

Again, they don't win the penalty battle every playoff game for literal years by accident.

I just want this f'n game to be over with - seems like it's been forever.  Can't shake the feeling that we're gonna lose another heartbreaker - if I have to watch Mahomes and Kelce hoist another Lombardi I'm gonna puke.
