Warning- All of the attention paid to the refs may work against the eagles.

While some think it may make the refs ease up a bit, the other angle is that this is going to become locker room material for the Chiefs. "They think we cant beat anyone without help from the refs. Lets crush these guys and show them what we can do" may be the sentiment in the Chief's locker room now.

Doesn’t have to be one of the other. In fact, you could make the case if we win, why change and go back to the formula that didn’t work? The formula that’s working is not allowing Sirianni to pick his guy.

On paper, sure. They're also human beings. Nick is going into the final year of his contract either way.

Couldn’t care less about them using it as motivation. Just want fair calls.

I dont really care about the refs. I just want an A game from the eagles. If they do that, not even the refs can change the outcome because the differential will be too large.

Additionally, I think they double down and continue to do it. If they suddenly changed it everyone would say "See, there is bias!!!"

We have to force turnovers and need Hurts to play his best ball, again. They'll get drives extended/saved

Great tweet.  People here treat Hurts like the worst QB in the league and it causes them to complain and hate watching the Eagles win with him.  Fact is, he's building a HoF resume and winning Sunday will go a long way to putting him one step closer to that.

Doug got fired because he wanted more say in how to assemble the team and Howie wasn’t allowing it.

And you can’t blame Doug for that after Howie took Reagor over Jefferson

I thought Reagor was Doug's choice.

I hope Mahomes throws for 9 ints against us.

I hate to break it to them, but they can't win without the refs.

They aren't the better team

Who hates watching him win? You and some others never bring receipts with that crap. I've been harder on him than anyone and you've obviously not read my posts the last few weeks.

I won't be complimenting him cause when I did vs GB he immediately caused a glitch in the Matrix and he started playing like crap.

He is going to suck on Sunday and drop the ball again...literally.

Forever settling the debate that Hurts is a much better QB.

that was yet another troll post. best not to respond.

Would you trade a SB win on Sunday for a couple of years of Patullo?

We don’t have to do that trade. We can win a Super Bowl and hire someone else to be OC.

I also think the Refs could go full "Chiefs" on us.  The chorus of them helping the Chiefs could become we'll show you what preference really looks like.

Like they crushed everybody else this year?

I just want this f'n game to be over with - seems like it's been forever.  Can't shake the feeling that we're gonna lose another heartbreaker - if I have to watch Mahomes and Kelce hoist another Lombardi I'm gonna puke.

I think we win going away.  Something like 37-20.

I wouldnt say so. But, its an external motivator that can boost focus and performance. I can do without that. Focusing on the refs before the game is played is loser energy. Im confident we will win because despite the refs help that KC will inevitably receive, I think our margin of talent is too large to overcome if we play our game. No one should be concerned about the refs. Just controlling what can be controlled. The eagles can control their own performance. As a fan, thats all I am thinking about- hoping the eagles come out and dominate like they can.

It's the Super Bowl. Any team that needs an external motivator probably shouldn't be in this position.

Yes, the Eagles could win easily but the Chiefs can't.  On the other hand, the Eagles could play really well and still lose at the end in a nail biter.

I think the Chiefs will go up tempo to start the game and take some risk to try and get up by 10pts and I expect them to succeed.  From there they will work to slow roll the middle part of the game and hope to not be too far behind as the game gets into the last 10 minutes which is where they think they have an advantage with Mahomes and a special play call or two by Spags.

I'm thinking the Eagles will go ahead and continue to grind and probably get one chance to run out the clock in the 4th and then if that doesn't succeed they'll get a final chance to stop Mahomes at the bitter end.

Think back to the Ravens game.  That's what I think we will see on Sunday.

I'm getting nervous, wonder if we can possibly be lucky enough in this city to win another, but I've had a similar feeling.
