Out of curiosity, I looked up the Eagles-Chiefs history to see when the last time was that we beat them. I've been thinking that we'd never beaten Andy Reid, at all. I see the 2023 game though and that we won that one. I literally have no memory of that game. Was it a night game (MNF, SNF or TNF)? If so, that's why I don't remember it.

Is it me or are the ticket prices way low this year compared to other years?

I’ve been seeing them in the 2500 - 2700 range all day

I'd never pay that much for a ticket. That would fund the EMB for a full year with a couple hundred left over for the next year.

I’d probably pay $2-2.5k though I recognise that is still an insane amount of money.

Only thing I really remember is Sirianni screaming like an idiot at Chiefs fans down the tunnel. This Eagles team is so much better than that one.

If I was the Browns, I’d want Nolan Smith, Dejean, and a 1st for Garrett.

Well if your were the Browns, you would probably end up with unhappy Garrett 🙂

Yeah no way they let Cooper go in the trade. I think its highly unlikely they’d let Nolan go either.

These picks are more evenly distributed than I thought they'd be, I thought for sure it'd be 95-100% Chiefs picks.

On the Philly Special podcast, Sheil proposed

Quinyon + 1 for Garrett
2 1sts and more for Garrett
DeJean + 1st for Garrett

IMO, Quinyon is more valuable than Garrett straight up.

Mitchell and DeJean are more valuable.  They have another 6-8 years in their prime.

The only negative thing about Quinyon, if you want to call it a negative, is that he was an older rookie. He'll be 24 going in to his 2nd year. He's a year older than Kelee Ringo and two years older than Cooper DeJean.

With that being said, there's absolutely no way i hell I'm trading Quinyon or Cooper for Myles Garrett. The Eagles have the chance at having one of the NFL's best CB duos, and they are on rookie deals for the next 3 years at the very least.

I would LOVE to have Garrett, but not at the cost of losing the young talent on this team. The only young player I would consider moving would be Jordan Davis.

But only 24 going in to his second year. So yeah perhaps a little older than some who entered the league at the same time but still.

At the moment, Garrett is a better DE than Q is a CB.  Though when you factor in age, it does change their values

The Garrett thing is not likely happening, nor does it really need to.  I love this young core and don’t want to part with one (plus a 1st) for an older player no matter how special.  I think Carter will become even a bigger monster and Howie has been drafting well of late.

Eagles are already likely parting ways w/ Slay. I want Cooper to stay at nickel and not move outside.  Ringo and Rodgers have played ok in spots, but have a long way to go to have a Slay-esque career.  I want Q and Cooper here together long term

Nope, nope, and nope.

Q and DeJean aren't going anywhere. They have the #1 defense why take key players away from it? It's going to be silly rumor and speculation season again.

This defense will be set for the next 5 years.  DeJean and Mitchell are a big part of that.

We've waited over 20 years for a 1st round corner, to see a rookie come in and play immediately as a shut down corner. Any talk even just for fun or speculation about trading Q is stupid.

Slay will be leaving. Q is a rookie and the future. Why is anyone discussing this?

No, No, and.... uh No.  It would be ridiculous to trade away known quantities that are so young AND picks for a guy that's coming to the end of his prime.  Just stupid roster building.

And yet, at least 5 years younger than Garrett.   No thank you.

Yup.  And the fact that Sheil actually put that out there is very disappointing.  That's a horrible trade for this team, especially when you consider this team's drafting history.  This team has struggled mightily to draft CBs, and have pretty good identifying edges.

I know Garrett is the hot topic, but this type of speculation is just fruitless.

Definitely … The guy is just a true wrecking ball at DE.  And I would be literally drooling for the opportunity to see him with Jalen Carter on the same line.  Who wouldn’t?

If Cleveland was ok with Ringo and a 2nd, then I’d say go for it (they were the organization dumb enough to give Deshawn Watson that contract, after all).  But I’m not parting with either Q or Cooper.

Garrett would be great in the dream scenario where the Browns are willing to take a 7th round pick, and Garrett is willing to play for league minimum. I don’t want Garrett at the expense of losing several more players that are going to be tough to retain as is.

Well, well, well... interesting pattern.    Eagles should win the next 4 matchups with the Chiefs.

They are definitely winning the upcoming one.
