Did I hear correctly the Commanders have 100k in cap space along with the draft picks? They are going to be a problem. Watch them sign Williams.

Tee Higgens to either them or Chargers makes too much sense.

Sadly he passed tonight

Pat Kerwin and Jim Miller from SiriusNFL were at the Senior Bowl (they do their show from there every year).  They were having about Nolan.  Liked his hustle.  Said he even skipped the line to get in another rep in the drills.

Nolen looks fantastic, but games are telling for him. The knock is that he is a pushover in the run game. That stuff isnt seen in practice. You just see him dominating with athleticism and pass rush moves.

Saquon is going to the house first play from scrimmage, sort of like Devin Hester returning the opening kick.

Just looked it up, $112 Million for 4 years projected for Higgins. I can't see Burrow happy, if he leaves them. They may have to bite the bullet there.

and they have to turn around next year and pay Chase, he's on his last year of his rookie contract in '25

Just saw an Instagram reel where someone put Phil Collins’ "In the Air Tonight” over Saquon’s first run of the NFCCG.

The Eagles managed to keep Devanta & AJ. Of course this will be even more money with these 2. What a job by Howie to get ahead of it with Devanta. When you have Joe Burrow and 2 young studs like that you should be fired if you don't keep both of them. Think they figure it out.

Was just coming here to say that it was reported he passed away

With Kellen Moore likely being the guy in New Orleans, it'll be interesting to see how we replace him. You would think Howie/Lurie will want another outside name.

Hopefully this isn’t a Gannon 2.0 situation with Moore.  Sucks we’re losing him though.

Probably. I didn’t even love Moore for most of the year, but I just want some damn continuity. I hope he pulls his name out of the running. He should see what happened with Steichen in Indy which has been a disaster. Don’t take jobs at crap organizations.

I could see Nick wanting Frank Reich, but for some reason I feel Howie/Lurie won't like that idea as much.

Pevin Katullo

Isn’t Slowik available?

Yes, but he had a bad year in Houston. It won’t be Patullo. If Howie liked him he would’ve been made the guy already.

Chip Kelly's been getting NFL buzz, I hear.

IDK. Texans had a ton of injuries on offense this year. Can’t blame Slowik for that.

So do they treat this week like a bye week, ie rest, rehab and study or is it straight to two weeks of practice?

They'll treat this week like a normal week but do their practices like a day later. Then re-hash it all again next week in NOLA.

Boy Washington didnt put up much of a fight against you guys.

So sick of losing coaches to HC hires.

I can’t believe that.  It really didn’t look that bad when I saw it originally; looked like he swung down some and only fell a few feet.  But I guess he must have landed awkwardly.

Really sad news.  😥

I think this is a different fall than the guy who was hanging from the flag.

Maybe Moore looks at it, sees that the Saints organization is a complete dumpster fire and realize the grass ain't always greener. He's a highly paid OC. Why trade that to go to a joke? Bills OC realized that.
