Quinyon is already one of the beat corners in the league and he's just going to get better.  He can be here for a near decade.  Trading him for a near 30 year old Garrett is braindead.

Agreed I wouldn't trade away any our starters unless it is Slay or Sweat as all are in young age and SB experienced which means they are in their prime now

A couple reporters said Garrett isn't going to cost as much as people think if traded and that it won't be more than one first rounder.

By gawd, that's Howie's music.

TBF, Garrett is old with foot issues.

Slow your roll.   This post reeks of recency bias and a young fan.   I'm not even sure it would be the best in franchise history, let alone league history.

F you. You’re the most stuck up, condescending poster on here.

The Eagles posted this to their official channel  They block embedding you have to click to watch on YouTube. Triumph the Insult Comic Dog roasting fans at the tailgate of the NFCCG.

He went mild on the Eagles fans, but destroyed the Commies fans there.

I would by fine sending this year 1st and 2nd plus next year 1st and 2nd for Garrett plus next year 3rd and the offer remains active until it is our turn on the draft...I wouldn't go any higher than that. After draft the offer would be only next year 1st plus 2nd...Also our will to go after Garrett and sacrifice picks is probably highly depends on the SB outcome

That is way too much for him.

Mike Groh. Press Taylor. Brian Johnson. Kevin Patullo.

I would love to know what Hurts' 3 threats are.  Running, Passing and... ???

Running, passing, ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope!

It’s okay, James Bradberry is easy to forget about.

We have a tens of millions tied up in void years for Sweat, BG, Bradberry, Slay, and Goedert through 2026.  We will likely extend Jurgens this offseason plus whomever from Baun, Williams, Sweat, and Becton we bring back.  We have big contracts for Carter and Smith in a few years.

The only reason I'd do it is to keep him off of the Commanders.  Otherwise, it throws a big wrench into the current roster management trajectory.

That's fine to say, but his trade value depends on the market for him.  The more teams calling, the higher the price goes.

Everyone posits that a QB is the only positional player worth multiple first round picks as a return but, in actuality, the number of teams bidding on an available QB is usually pretty low.  That's because if the QB is available or being moved there is usually a compelling reason for it.

I would guess Garrett might have a greater number of teams bidding on him than most QBs who have been available recently.  EDGE is a premium position, he is universally regarded as one of the best 2-3 EDGE rushers in the NFL (if not the best), and we're really not sure how easy/difficult he'll be to sign to a long term extension.  If he wants to get out of Cleveland (who wouldn't?) then he may not insist on a record-setting contract.  Usually, there is a trade-off between getting traded to a perennial contender and shopping yourself to the highest bidder.

On the Philly Special podcast, Sheil proposed

Quinyon + 1 for Garrett
2 1sts and more for Garrett
DeJean + 1st for Garrett

IMO, Quinyon is more valuable than Garrett straight up.

The whole point of a Garrett trade is that we already have a complete roster and adding him would put the team into a new level of dominance.

Any trade involving Mitchell, DeJean, Nolan, etc. is a total non starter and defeats the entire point of making the trade in the first place.

It would have to be draft picks and, at best, low level role players like a spare backup lineman. Absolutely no starters should even be contemplated

Helps me sleep at night...

The Eagles are going to need to do something at DE/EDGE. Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt are the only guys that are locks to return.

Graham just said this is his last game. He's gone.

Sweat is already thinking about his payday. He's gone.

Huff, I think that relationship is over. Fangio doesn't like him. He can't like getting completely benched all post season. I don't see how he comes back.

Alshon was right. They should have just flown in on Friday for the game on Sunday. I know the league ties them to it, but this week has been some of the dumbest media content ever.

There's been a lot of consensus about drafting a DE high. Now the Garrett talk. They do need to do something.
