You’re right.   Some irresponsible journalists are linking that video but that’s  not the kid that died.

I just saw the video of the kid that passed away and he was about twice as high and hit a bunch of objects on his way down, turning him on his back - looked like he may have landed on his head.  

Really sad.  😞

I'd hope so. Brian Johnson was an obvious internal candidate....not sure one exists this time around. Nussmeier is tied to Kellen so he will go as well. I guess it'd be Patullo but he'd be here anyway with an outside guy coming in.

I think Howie will go hard for Josh McCown. QB coach under Kevin O'Connell and they love the guy. Marcus Brady is a guy who has been on this staff, has OC expeirence and ties with Siri. They could go Slowik if they want more of an experienced fresh ideas guy again who managed to go from one of the hot and upcoming HC candidates last year to a surprise firing this offseason. Grant Udinsk is a young guy getting a bit of buzz for OC gigs this cycle.

Maybe they re-hire Brian Johnson  . Or Frank Reich comes back

Frankly I’m guessing if Moore is leaving he’s not going to leave them in the dark that he’s going unlike Gannon. I’d probably reach out to a couple of coaches I’d want and let them know the situation.

Even though Jalen most likely gets a new coordinator once again next year, not too worried about it. Jalen has matured and is used to it anyway. Kellen really didn't bring any ingenuity in here til last Sunday and kept this offense pretty vanilla. Easy offense for a new coordinator to tweak. This is still mainly a running team next year and you go from there. I think they finally realized this week who they are with this passing game and how to make this all blend and be more balanced. Jalen has a better feel for this offense and it showed. Just clicking for him. Hopefully...

Was it by design to save this style offense til late in season? Kinda think so. Also, feel they consciously didn't want to overuse Barkley this late in season (calf seemed to tighten up in game). Being unpredictable right now is almost genius and gives the Chiefs alot more to think about. Wouldnt be surprised if Sirianni gives Kellen the green light to open it up a little more for Chiefs. You can sense his resolve this time around. He's doing an amazing job keeping this team focused, hungry and together. What a turnaround from last year!? They obviously had some bums on that team and got rid of them.

You know Brady is also rooting for the Birds to protect his GOAT legacy.

Exactly. They lost one dude they preferred to keep (Nagy). We could throw in Doug but that was nearly a decade ago now.
