What’s the blog’s consensus on Jared Allen being a hall of famer? 

Based on memory, he doesn’t strike me as hall of fame worthy. Never a truly dominate player. Consistently very good but never the best defensive player in any given year.

Man, that's a good one.  He played for what, 11 or 12 years?   Without looking I feel like he only made pro bowl honors 4 or 5 times, but when he did he was all pro.  Was a sack leader too.

 

I have a feeling when it all plays out he will be in the conversation for many years but not quite make it.

He’s a HoF’er. He just was on mostly bad teams his whole career so he never felt dominate. 7 straight seasons with double digit sacks, one year with 22, 4 first team all pro’s, 4 safeties. He deserves it.

I always appreciated Eric Allen's game, I knew he was one of the best. I am surprised at his size how big he played...I always thought he was like 6'2 210...he played at 5'10 190...I don't see how I missed that...

The F’d up thing is the reason I was up late and off the internets is because I was working on a data migration strategy diagram.
