Now here is one for you lazy types.

There are three ingredients.  First, some nacho chips and they can be whatever you want.  Even the standard simple tostitos will do.  Second, a loaf (or two depending on the size of the party) of that sheety Velveeta stuff. Use the hot spicy version if you can find that.  Third, canned stewed tomatoes.  Probably a couple of cans.

Yes, Velveeta sucks and is terrible for you but this is great and the easiest thing you could ever make.  Just put on low heat till it all melts and then stir in the stewed tomatoes.  Doesn't sound very appetizing but trust me, voila!

My arteries clogged just reading this.

I could use some help with the Super Bowl offerings for game day.

My wife is starting out with some Type 2 Diabetes and I'm looking to create a menu that she can enjoy while still being festive.   She loves bread, but that's generally on the no-no list now.

So, I'm thinking one thing that might really be nice for her to have as an option would be a charcuterie tray.   But, I'm not well versed in what those options should be.  I was thinking about some 3 cheeses (1 soft - brie or camembert, 1 hard and funky - gruyere or extra sharp cheddar, and maybe a soft spreadable?), 3 meats (various salamis), and that's where I get stuck... what other things would be good options to add?

I know a diabetic that uses this bread

Grapes have a low glycemic index.  I would also consider adding almonds, cashews and maybe pistachios.

One of my past doctors referred to grapes as fruit candy because there really is no nutritional value in them.  He laughed when I responded, that is why a drink mine.

No Rotel in Sweden?

Velveeta, Rotel, and crumbled spicy sausage was a go to game day dip for my roommates and I in college.

Cheap and easy.

Couldn’t put my stomach through that these days though.

Didn't Deon comment on it recently?

I don't know.

We got a big contribution from T.O. in 2004.   I'm hoping that BG can be the emotional leader we might need in a critical moment, and best of all, the moment won't be too big for him, whereas it might intimidate some of the others on the defensive front.   (It shouldn't really be too big for the UGA guys, given their history with National Championship games, but even so, the Super Bowl is still the biggest thing in sports.).   And if he can give them 10-15 quality snaps, while being able to keep them loose, yet focused... its all good.    AND, all it will cost you is the 1 snap that you would be getting from Bryce Huff.  In other words, they will literally be losing absolutely nothing... just like his number.   Adding BG to the active roster for this game is nothing but a net positive... the question only becomes how big or small that effect is on the field.   Either way, just having him suit up for this game is likely to give the whole team a bit of a lift, even if he doesn't get on the field.

Strip sack in the first Q to set up our second score to go up 14-0.  Gimme that.

I would absolutely love to see them manage to lay a big hit on Mahomes on the very first drive and make him spend the rest of the game looking for ghosts.   He takes liberties when he's running around and tries to draw 15 for minor contact.   If I'm Fangio and the rest of the defensive staff... I tell them to just go after him and lay the wood on him.  Tell them, if you get flagged so be it.  We'll take the 15 yards to send the message that this is not the game to get cute in.  If he wants to run, then he's got to be willing to pay the price.   I could see CJGJ being that guy.

I think the cat is out of the bag on Mahomes trying to draw flags like he did against Houston in their playoff game. Refs are on the lookout for it now so I would be surprised if they gave him another one of those cheap flags.

I didn't say that.

2 years ago, I got a haircut between the NFCCG and the Super Bowl, and we lost. My wife today -- "you should get a haircut before flying to New Orleans, it looks shaggy." My response -- "not doing that again, and why exactly are you out of the kitchen?"

I eat queso still but not velveeta any more, real cheese. Occasionally use some Rotel to it.  Chorizo is a must. Best way is a Fundido, Mexican cheese, peppers (I can really play around with pepper choices, Poblano, Serrano, sometimes some Ancho or even Chipotle to add some smoke), onion and chorizo. Needs to be cooked in cast iron (I use my fajita platter as the fundido adds to the cure).  Onions need to be sautéed.  I save some chorizo as a topper and sometimes a little pickled shallot on top.

@Iggles_Phan with corn torts heated with a little olive oil to make them pliable, your wife could eat this but sounds like your heart can’t handle it.  Chips don’t really work because it’s gooey but damn it’s good.

A steak sandwich is already a sandwich without cheese, peppers and onions too.

Yeah, but the entire point of this dip was to do essentially nothing to make it.

Mahomes can run and AR is using his running ability.  Honestly, he does not run like a RB or other mobile QBs.  If he runs on Sunday, our guys must tackle him hard to send the message.  His arm is what set him apart, not his legs.

His willingness and ability to extend plays is what really sets him apart.  If he takes a nasty shot early, he might look at the defense more and for a target much less.

Covey out. Gates, BG and CJ questionable (BG and CJ would need to be activated)

Looks like Kenny G. is a full go.   That's great news.

Does the Covey spot create room for BG?  Or do we need to park CJ to get that spot?
