Durability I get…but I think he was one of the few players the complimented Brady vs Brady made look better than they truly were.

I order these direct from Wisconsin every Christmas

Much cheaper and no shipping cost if you get them from Trader Joe’s.  Only one flavor at a time though from Trader Joe’s.  We used to give them as Christmas presents to lots of people on our Christmas list back in the 90s and 00s, but the prices for shipping have gone so far up  that we moved to other presents in the 10s and 20s.  Some people cut back on sugar as well.

This year we sent kitchen cutting boards and they were a big hit.IMG_9041.thumb.jpeg.d62e4ac096c0c3c54655dbb5cd51d1f8.jpeg

They were $9.75 and $7.75 at Christmas.  Prices have jumped in the last 60 days. But still a good value.

I almost just said f it and booked....2k round trip (so 4k for the Mrs and me), 3k tickets (so another 6k)....but would need to figure out Logging for Sunday night (we'd fly out tomorrow morning returning Monday evening.

Problem is...just started a new job (In sales and I do remotely) and I actually have a prospect call at 2pm on Monday with a massive potential client/deal.  I'd have to call the new boss and be like...are you cool with me going and taking the call from New Orleans and it just seems like a bad look. And...I'd still have to figure out where to stay.  But...10k'ish for a great f'ing trip, once in a lifetime...I'm really considering it....

I was living in San Francisco back in the late 90's/early 2000's.  Was driving through the city and saw a shop and it said Philly Cheesesteaks and banged a hard U-turn.  Went in and ordered.....something was served to me on f'ing Sour Dough Bread with Carmalized Onions and I guess beef/steak and I was like....."you should be ashamed of yourself" and "take any mention of Philly Cheesesteak down off your f'ing windows!!".  It's amazing that anywhere, any place can put "Philly Cheesesteak" and thing it's actually a Philly Cheesesteak.  And yes, always been partial to Jim's on South Street....grew up knowing the owner and his sons.

Carmelized onions are good on a cheesesteak as long as they are hot and cooked with the meat and sweet peppers.  Marinara Sauce is also a very good addition.

Back in the 80s Mama’s Pizza on Belmont Avenue did a killer Cheesesteak Sub which  added shredded lettuce and mayonnaise.  The description made me cringe until I tried it.  It truly was great.

No..it was f'ing disgusting....now at Jim's I have gone the peppers, onions, pizza sauce, cheese wiz...for big 'ol mess and it's f'ing fantastic.  Especially drunk at 2am!

I'd love to see a double move to AJ Brown on the first play.  Put that in their head then grind it out on the ground

That sounds great, but I believe it goes against the turnover risk avoidance game planning that has been the mantra since the Bye.  I can see that play happening later in the game, but not as the first play.

That encourages me.    Because I think the game pivots on the Eagles' OL dominating the Chiefs' DL and Saquon going off.  Is that what you are seeing?

Yes.

I was wasting time on Kayak(travel site) yesterday and look at PHL-MSY (New Orleans) The fares were surprisingly reasonable - around $500 RT. I expected 1.5x to 2x normal.

Yup we used the last time for rolls and some jewish apple cake from home that my wife loves

since it was obviously bad luck i did not do that this time

going to check out a philly sub shop in indy today

Trader Joe’s had a very good Jewish apple cake recently.  You may want to check with them to find out when they carry it.

He’s ok as an announcer but when you get him in interviews like this he’s very captivating

Interesting all the controversy about Lamar Jackson not winning the mvp award.  I realize it’s a regular season award, but the guy is average at best in the playoffs and consistently irrelevant in the chase for the SB…you going to just give him the MVP award every year?

Hes not even close to the most valuable player in the league.

Eh, those pics are overrated especially if you come back with a good report from the doc...sorry I can't help with the rolls sourcing...although I have heard that Publix bakery puts out some pretty good bread but idk...

Good on you getting the scope btw...got my first  a couple of years ago, the prep sucks but the nap is great...

I found the prep not as bad as I expected. Mix it up a couple hours before and refrigerate. The stuff I got had a lemon flavored addition. 8 ounces every 10 minutes, don't let it get warm. I had the procedure in the afternoon so half the prep the night before, half the next morning. I thought I'd have trouble sleeping but nope. And yeah, I can see why Michael Jackson liked Propofol. only about a 2 hour 'hangover', no nausea or any other side effects.

Last years Eagles - Chiefs game on NFL Network right now.  Late in the fourth Fletcher Cox hit Mahomes (clean hit) - Mahomes went down and cried for a flag - the ref threw it.  Be prepared - it’s coming again tomorrow.

They put the QB rules in to protect high guaranteed contracts and celebrity that goes with the position.  At some point, Hurts with four straight playoff appearances, two conference championships, two division championships must be viewed as a peer with Mahommes and get the same calls.  Would be awesome if they start that tomorrow.  Hit him behind the LOS even if it looks like he is a runner, throw the flag if head hit, he’s sliding, body weight etc.   On the tush push with Luvu, if that was a sneak attempt by Mahommes, Luvu would have been flagged on the first flight he took.

Gronk is the best TE to ever play the position. Not a debate for me

You are off the reservation with this again.   Why are you being so shallow and mean to her?

Alright, 31 hours away what’s everyone’s temperature check?

Not gonna lie, I’ve had more nerves about this one than either of the last 2.

I do think we have the team that can win, but I think I’m still living through the PTSD of the last one lol.

Plus I’m more hoping to get this one for my son. He was still pretty young with 52, but got to live through the disappointment of 57.

Would love to have this one for him more so than even my own satisfaction.

Bring it home, boys!

Maybe consider going a bit bigger on the lodging and ensure that they have a top notch biz suite with private conference cubbies.
