Yup...I plunged in on Weds Night...I am going with my oldest daughter and yes I do consider it a once in a lifetime opportunity. The ticket prices right now  are about as low as it will ever get for a Super Bowl. I gave up on the idea of finding a reasonably priced hotel room. We are flying out at 5am pst from San Francisco and should arrive 3 1/2 hours before game time. With the added security for the President and federal and national guard troops everywhere, we are hoping to get an uber/taxi that gets us pretty close.

The only concern is going to be getting back to the airport right after the game. We will have a tight 3 hour window to catch our redeye flight. We will likely have to hoof it a bit to find an area where we can access uber/taxi and I anticipate that will be chaotic. I can't sleep on airplanes so I expect to be up for about 30hrs but what an adventure.

Since we’re talking about superstitions, I think I’m in a bit of a conundrum. For Super Bowl 57, I wore an AJ Brown jersey. We all know how that ended.

For Super Bowl 52, I wore a similar #11 jersey but obviously not AJ Brown. So I’m left with 3 options.

1. Laugh in the face of stupid superstitions and wear AJ Brown again

2. Be a coward and wear the Carson Wentz jersey even though he’s on the other team so I’ll look both stupid and like a jilted ex.

3. Wear something else and see what fate decides

Was pretty creative 

I'm more confident the Eagles will win now given the weather forecast next week. After SB52 it rained all week and the parade was finally on a day where it was a high of like 28 degrees. Next week it's going to snow all week. Would be so Philly for us to have to enjoy a parade in the snow, but we will if we have to.

Correct.    His college number was 30, but it was taken when he first got to the Eagles.

I have a Hurts Jersey but they've been winning....I've been wearing this black hoodie with the Eagles Logo on the chest and they haven't lost.....I don't think I can deviate from wearing that tomorrow....but maybe I toss my Kelly Green Eagles Sweatshirt in my bag and switch if the mojo isn't working with the black!  Was going to watch at home with the Mrs. alone...but now going to her brothers.  Which really can throw Mojo off as his wife was Eli Manning's personal assistant for years.  I sat a table over from him at their wedding but she basically said if I talked to him, especially about the Eagles, she'd kill me lmao I was so close to saying F it and playing Fly Eagles Fly on my phone next to him but I didn't want her launching off a table in her wedding dress flying at me!

It isn't a jersey from the Reid era.  He just purchased it during that time period.  I'd say he's ok with that one.
