I don't see how it could be anyone but Moore at this point. Everyone else notable dropped out. The only other guys that interviewed are Darren Rizzi, Mike Kafka and Anthony Weaver.

In my mind it’s Moore. I’m guessing the eagles know this. It’s why i believe they’ve already reached out to guys they like and informed them. I would find it curious if Slowik still doesn’t have a job after the Super Bowl is played and the Eagles know that Moore is leaving for NO. I have a hard time believing the NFL has completely soured on him in a year.

He sure as hell is a better bet than Brian Schottenheimer.

Who knows.  Schottenheimer will be going into a much better situation to succeed.

The Bills ran the ball fairly well, I like that. While I’m not sure if the blitz has been figured out, it usually means man coverage which Jalen is better at reading and running behind.

Defensively, I think we have the horses to manage Mahomes heroics.

Jeebus.  I'm gone for most of this week and this place turns into CVON.

Agreed. Trading away one of the best WRs in the league probably didn't help either.

I’d add i don’t think their OL is as good as it was 2 years ago. They still have smith, thuney and Humphrey but moved thuney to LT. But caliendo and Taylor aren’t as good. Caliendo per pff is below 50 and Taylor is in the 50s. Orlando brown jr. And Wylie were actually better at tackle than thuney and Taylor even though thuney has been really good. their interior was much stronger with thuney, Humphrey and smith than inserting caliendo for thuney and moving thuney to LT

Bills defense was quite soft and KC put the ball on the ground a couple of times.

Eagles defense will need to force a couple of turnovers and Hurts will need to beat the blitz with quick throws. Get the ball to AJ or Saquon in space and let them make plays.

Moore showed quite a lot of new looks against washington. Those TE sweeps, the shovel pass, and did I see play action out of jumbo?

I definitely think Howie is putting feelers out there in case Moore takes the job. Get on the phone with Caley, Udinski, and Slowik.

Not sure why he'd go to Saints. They're pretty Fed. It'd be an uphill battle. I'm hoping all of these are just practice interviews for when he is ready to move on. Right now he's got a completely stacked roster. Leaving that for a crap franchise just doesn't seem smart

May depend on the offer and guarantees.  That franchise won’t turn around in one year.  So they will have draft choices.  I could see Moore going and taking Nuss with him with the promise to target Nuss’ kid in the 2026 draft. Nussmeier’s kid is the LSU QB so he would be a local hero. (Of course, Nuss and Moore might want to talk with Pickett about how that worked in Pittsburgh.)

To the point of the bills ran fairly well. So did the Texans

As far as offense goes, Hurts, Moore and Stoutland should be studying how Spagnolo "disguises” his blitz’s not "just how to counter the blitz”.  Because if they don’t know the blitz is coming, how will they know to counter it on that particular play?

I would take a look at every disguised blitz formation the Chiefs have used this year - when they use it - even if they audible into them during certain offensive formations, etc.

Also, taking a look at some of Jim Johnson’s old blitz disguises wouldn’t hurt either - I can almost guarantee Spagnolo has.

Yeah I mentioned it in the old blog thread, but we've improved from 2 years ago while they've regressed. It's why I thought we should've been slightly favored instead of them.

Yup have the same feeling. Imo if slowik doesn’t have a job by the end of the Super Bowl, it would feel like  either the league has completely soured on him, he’s taking a year off or the eagles reached out to him to tell him they want him for the OC job when Moore leaves for NO. Don’t think the league has completely soured on him.

Tbh rather be the underdogs. Don’t want to give the chiefs any additional ammo like people doubted us and we were the underdogs.

Hopefully Moore tries to get them to tip their hand with alignment. Use bunches and tight sets sparingly on passing downs, spread them out instead and use hard counts to see if any of them drift or get heavy on their front foot. If Spags is gonna send his corners, make them work for it.

You're being kind.  The sequel was terrible IMO.

Yep, exactly.  Make sure to have hot reads, dump offs and screens ready, depending on how they react, etc.

Did I hear correctly the Commanders have 100k in cap space along with the draft picks? They are going to be a problem. Watch them sign Williams.

34 players under contract and three of their draft picks are seventh rounders.

Seems like it started after they added the extra game. Would have thought Donald would have the most even before 2020. Still amazing company to be in. Carter is going to dominate the league for a long time

That's how Baltimore moved the ball on us too. Although it was a lot of high passes that those guys had to go up for and barely snag with fingertips.  Still,  they had success doing it.

I'm not that worried though.  He's one player.  It's going to take more than that to beat us. And he's very slow.

Texans fans really don't have good things to say about Slowik. They think he's terrible. Biggest thing was he can't adjust and had no answers for anything.

Any new names from the senior bowl, that make sense here?  I caught some of the recap, but didn't get to watch the drills.

Arroyo came in heavier than I expected, do maybe he can hold up as a Y.

Walter Nolan looked very nimble, so seems like a stretch that he'll be in our neighborhood.

Donovan Ezeirauku (sp?) isn't running through OLmen, but has some really good arm length for an OLB.
