Sorry to say this in the presence of our international fans... but this is OUR game.  If you want to see it, you need to come here.   A Super Bowl taking place in a foreign country would be the ultimate slap in the face to the fans that made the NFL what it is today.  And frankly, that might be the straw that would break the camel's back for me.  The NFL continually spits in the face of their current fans in the hopes of attracting new ones.  

Agreed. It’s all about money though and lots of professional sports are going that route. It sucks IMO, just like when FIFA puts the World Cup in Katar or Saudi Arabia… Keep the games where they belong, so SB in the US and the Lombardi Trophy in Philly after this game!

Yup.   I wouldn't expect, nor want, the European Union cup or whatever the highest trophy would be for European soccer ("football") to be played in Philadelphia.  It would make no sense.  There should be some semblance of common sense and sense of history rather than the chase for the all-mighty dollar/Euro/whatnot.
