People talked so much crap when we talked about the field being the reason that Mahomes won the last SB. Yeah well.

Backed up the narrative tonight. Pressure was all over his ass and honestly, our 2022 defense was WAY better with pressure. Super satisfied with the performance, I was hoping that our back to front (secondary provides time for the pass rush) defense would be able to perform similar to this. It was better than I could have imagined.

Most dominant performance by a Defensive Line in SB history?

What we saw today from eagles D line is what they would have done to chiefs in 2022 loss if the league didnt screw up the field

Revenge is sweet!

Barkley got them here, opened things up for everyone else as the overwhelming constant focus of the defense, and caught that bobbled pass.  So it wasn’t his typical game, but he did his part today.

He was more than a decoy, but he was the complete focus of their defensive effort.   Without him, the Chiefs play a very different brand of defense.   He was still the straw that stirred the drink.   He deserved MVP of the league, and the vote really shouldn't have been close.  What he did was special.   What Allen did happens all the time now with QBs.  Oh well.   Lombardi > MVP trophy.   So, in the end, Barkley won and Allen definitely lost.

With zero … I repeat zero … blitzes.  That has never been done in SB history.

I am happy that Hurts got the MVP … very happy.  He was a good choice, but giving it to the D-Line would have been an even better choice.

right after the Chiefs INT wasnt it? Sent a message that the Chiefs just werent going to be allowed to carry any momentum in this game.

No.   It was right after the Eagles 3 and outed right before the half.   After the Chiefs INT we got a short field and got 3 on that drive, IIRC.    Right after the INT was a 3 and out though, I think.   And the Eagles got 2 sacks on that drive to really kill any momentum they might have gotten.

Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt are going to be so good as edge rushers for a long time.

The 2024 Eagles team was undefeated when Hurts/AJ both played.

Kenny Pickett played in a Super Bowl before Dak Prescott

As much as I would like to see Sweat back, after tonight's performance, he is going to get paid.

2025 Draft class is stacked at EDGE.

There will be three or four that get pushed down to 32, a la Quinyon last draft.

I didn’t want to say anything cause i didn’t want to jinx us, but during the bye week my family got me another dog cause they knew how much i missed my dog kooper who i had to put down before the season. His name is Dracula aka drax. He’s only seen the eagles lose 1 time in his life IMG_3383.thumb.jpeg.d062b466522ab4d5025ab6d0ee5ccacd.jpeg

On the Baun INT, Sweat was pushing the O lineman into Mahomes to assist.

There is no such thing as a moral victory, but that Dotson catch was as close as one can get.

All the talk for the last 2 weeks, the rookies in the secondary was going to freeze up because they were in the Super Bowl. Jalen Carter was on his death bed, and that it was the Chiefs world, and the Eagles should just be happy to be living in it. Gonna be a lot of crow eating tomorrow.

i love all of you

Love Sweat, but I don’t know how repeatable his 2022 season or 2024 SB performance will be for us.

Milton Williams, on the other hand…man, would love to keep him.

Sweat was a beast tonight.

We are a multi Superbowl winning team.

It almost doesn't feel real

Thanks Hurts. I'll never bash you again

Jake Elliott was perfect tonight
