Just love this so much. Carter getting mugged the entire time. Mahomes getting drilled and then the no call on hands to the face. Perfect.

Baun blitzed twice.

Someone probably dropped into coverage so it was a 4 man rush

I’d have awarded Super Bowl MVP to Josh Sweat.  2.5 sacks, plus the huge pressure putting Thuney into Mahomes’ lap that resulted in the Baun INT.  The defense won the Super Bowl; the offense played well overall, but not great at the start.  The back-to-back INT by DeJean and Baun turned the tide and won the game.

As soon as FOX announced that voting was open for the fans to call in and vote, it was obvious that Hurts would win it.  Most casual fans only recognize 3-4 names from each team.

Hurts was clearly the MVP.  The Chiefs defense is very good and he made so many critical plays with his arm and with his legs.

It’s finally hitting me. This is the second time I’ve watched us win a Super Bowl without my mom. I was a wreck in 2017, and tonight feels almost as bad. She’s the one who made me love this team, who watched the games with me, who felt every high and low just as deeply as I did. I know she would have been overjoyed to see them win it all—twice—but while I celebrate, I can’t help but wish she were here to experience it with me. It breaks my heart knowing she never got to see what we’ve both dreamed of for so long.

Love you, Mom. We’re 2x Super Bowl champs!

💚

Man, this hit with me. I actually got to see us win in 2017 with my mom, but this is the first SB I saw us win without her. I wish both our moms could've been here to see this one!

They are both going to cost a lot, but you have to bring back Baun AND Williams.

Baun and Becton.

So was Howie right when he used up all our draft capital on literally half the 2021 Georgia defense?

The "bustdawgs?"

Hurts twice this week credited the culture & togetherness to the Georgia Dawgs.

He had to rekick 3 times from 5 yards farther back.

Anyone find kelly green SB gear... please do us all a favor and @ everyone

Josh Sweat will probably go down as the best individual defensive performance by an Eagle in SB history.

His career didn’t have the longevity of Graham (he’ll probably walk this offseason) or the peak dominance of Reddick/Hugh/Cole or some others, but that one feat alone should put his name in rarified air.

Three of the Eagles best defensive players tonight are now UFA — Baun, Milton Williams, and Sweat.  I think most can agree Sweat will be moving on; great game to end his Eagles tenure on if so.  Baun has to be brought back, and I feel Milton Williams is a must to bring back as well.  Definitely a case to be made that he’s the most underrated player on the defense.

I feel like becton might do a hometown discount. He loves playing here. Hoping baun does as well

This is a bad take

Meh, the Chiefs defense is average.

The defensive line was dominant on levels we haven't seen all season. They won that game in the first half. Reid and Mahomes are elite at what they the do and that defensive line made them look like pee wee players. It truly was a performance, that will SHOULD go in the history books.

Williams might have played himself out of our price range.  Regardless in Howie I trust this off-season.  Have to keep killing the draft.

That is my belief as well.

Fact is, Jalen Hirts is at worst the 2nd best QB in the NFL.  Two Super Bowls against Mahomes. Outplayed him in both.

I felt it when we put Mailata, Slay, and CJGJ out for the coin toss.  They countered with Kelce, Mahomes, Jones, etc.  That was a message that we were 50 strong while the Chiefs were a small set of superstars

Regarding Lane and him retiring, why do so now?  You've won 2 and there's a chance they could win another next year.

As long as he wants to keep playing why not.  Keep going until they don't win it.  Who's to say they can't repeat?

Absolutely. Talk about a dude betting on himself

Go get us a 3rd round comp Sweat

This was honestly one of the worst Super Bowls ever from a casual watching experience.

And I loved every minute of it.
