Beating Belichick/Brady and beating Reid/Mahomes. In a span of 7 years. In the middle of their so called dynasties. Just doesnt get any better than this! Like beating the Patriots in 2018, there was revenge on the mind after losing in 2004 to Brady. Said all year, I want the damn Chiefs. So we can have them on a platter and settle the wrongdoings of the 2023 heist. It's sweet redemption!

I remember being impressed the Ravens & Ozzie Newsome rebuilt a team to win a 2nd SB in 10 years. 

Eagles did it in 7, with new coaches too.

I distinctly remember sitting on my couch after LII. My wife was watching This Is Us. I didn’t watch the show at all. All of a sudden my eyes were welling up. She saw me and asked why so was crying at a show I don’t watch. Honestly, I wasn’t even paying attention to it and couldn’t tell her a single thing that was happening. It was like a lifelong frustration turned into relief and then pure joy. It just took me some time to process it all. 

Tonight was just a fun ass party for the second half, a coronation. I had a great time with my wife and kids. My daughter learned Fly Eagles Fly tonight because she had so much practice. I’m loving Twitter and all the celebration videos and listening to the Merrill and Quick highlights. The postgame shows are fun. But that night in 2018 … that might have been the greatest night of my life excluding my wedding night and the birth of my kids.

It was a BS flag, but the one in the next Eagles drive for the incidental helmet contact to Goedert was equally BS for pretty much the same reason.  Neither should have been called and after those two questionable calls, the refs called a good game.
