I distinctly remember sitting on my couch after LII. My wife was watching This Is Us. I didn’t watch the show at all. All of a sudden my eyes were welling up. She saw me and asked why so was crying at a show I don’t watch. Honestly, I wasn’t even paying attention to it and couldn’t tell her a single thing that was happening. It was like a lifelong frustration turned into relief and then pure joy. It just took me some time to process it all.

Tonight was just a fun ass party for the second half, a coronation. I had a great time with my wife and kids. My daughter learned Fly Eagles Fly tonight because she had so much practice. I’m loving Twitter and all the celebration videos and listening to the Merrill and Quick highlights. The postgame shows are fun. But that night in 2018 … that might have been the greatest night of my life excluding my wedding night and the birth of my kids.

Yup. I cried that night. Years and years of frustration were all vanquished in one moment. It was as though the weight of the world had lifted off my shoulders. It was basically the ONE THING I had been waiting for my entire life. And I got to experience it...finally.

I'm super happy right now. And mildly drunk. (I'm not normally a drinker.) But it's a different kind of happiness. And that's not a complaint at all. This is definitely glorious in its own right.

Jesus it must be brutal to be a Giants fan with the state of that team.

F em. I don't care.

What a clip.

Best Eagles team of our lives

Hard to sleep knowing what we just witnessed. Just too dominant against too great of a team, QB and HC.

Game being re-aired on NFLN for anyone still awake

One of the few national believers all season long

Tonight was the end of the Kelce era. Love Jason but boy was a I sick of him and his family being shoved down our throats.

Not gonna lie yall I missed the blog during a lot of the game cause I was very drunk but I finally made it. Very proud of this eagles squad, we did it!!!!! Super Bowl champs baby

I want to stay up all morning, but gotta try and get some shuteye. The parade later this week, then Howie szn begins. Can't wait to see who he's able to bring back of the FAs and if he gives a big FU and goes out and gets Garrett.

Saw this linked on Reddit. Lol. This person can't be serious.  If he's so overrated then why did their defense only focus on him and nobody else?  If he's so overrated then how did he manage to have the most rushing yards in a single season in NFL history.  It's hard to imagine that there are people on this planet who are this stupid.

Really only one super bowl has been like that, broncos-seahawks. Id love it, but the NFL will never let that happen again

Well, Eagles just added another lol

Akers better be announcing a draft pick

Heck Yeahhhh, second trophy in the nest, lets go get another one next year.

Fly Eagles Fly, Howie Roseman the MVP for me..

P.S. I bet Mcnabb is butthurt with his jealous as* now that Hurts won the Superbowl playing the full season...

Has there been any Jason Kelce reactions to the Eagles Superbowl win??? Looked a few places can't find any..

Ok, grabbed a bit of sleep and trying to gather my thoughts on this.

So, so pleased for everyone on the Eagles organisation,  but thinking mostly of all you guys on here.

You put your hearts and souls into this team and you got the game of their lives from them.

Can't imagine what it's like over there, got a bit emotional myself towards the end (might have been one single malt too many 🥃😁).

Think that was everything we could've hoped for, utter domination .

@UK_EaglesFan89, mate, hope youve had the best time. You'll remember this for the rest of your life, have a drink for me will you 🍻.
