Yeah it was his first INT bud definitely! Both our rookies went in to the play offs with no INTs. Both made huge plays in the play offs and not many bigger than that pick 6!

This is a way, WAY too early take.....but the leadership and core of this team are set up for more of these.

I'm sure we'll all talk about this more next week, after we're done celebrating that absolute thrapping, as we call that where I'm from 😁.

But whisper it quietly and yes they are šŸ‘

I was wondering what happened here. There was like no post game really on the Tubi stream and I was waiting for them to walk the trophy out through this amazing team.

Ā

I couldn't even figure out who was MVP until I went and looked on FacebookĀ

I was so confused, searched it, saw a comment about why they stopped it (a lot of people suspect COVID), and then when I looked back, 53 was the last one, so they stopped during the 2020 SB. My brain stopped functioning when I realized like I said. Holy crap, we got the SECOND TO LAST trophy presentation music, after they started it in 2006. Crazy.Ā

We almost never experienced it. I was almost heartbroken this time, until I realized it was normal now.

They still do it, but it's like pre-2006 without the music. They technically used Star Wars music for some but yeah.

Not supposedly.Ā  It was.Ā Ā

What a great day after my fellow Eagles!! This was an absolute beat down and I’m so damn proud of this entire team.Ā
Ā

It’s been an honor to be here and enjoy this entire season with all of you. Eagle fans are the best and we deserved this as welll.Ā
Ā

Hurts is money, no more doubts for me. He proved it in this game.Ā

I was soooo wrong on Fangio! Geez, he has to be one of the main MVPs of this year. What he did in one year transforming an atrocious defense into a dominant beast is amazing.

Ā

Thank YOU!!!šŸ¦…šŸ¦…šŸ¦…

I’m still in shock at not that we won, but the manner of how we won. We made the two time defending Super Bowl champions look very very ordinary.Ā
Ā

For me personally this is why I was as frustrated as I was during the season. I think we all knew this was in the team but we made it so difficult for ourselves.Ā
Ā

I’m happy for Jalen hurts to be able to get redemption for two years ago, when imo he was the better QB. He played amazing and that bomb down the middle was šŸ‘ŒĀ
Ā

I’m happy for Jake Elliot being utter money for every kick last night after a rough patch in the season.Ā

Another positive is that when teams do stop Saquon, which will happen, we showed that we can correct for that and we aren’t one dimensional.Ā

I take back all the bad things I said about Hurts. He proved me wrong and I couldn’t be happier!

i'm still in shock. this one too me was improbable especially with saquon not able to do a thing all night

Nick WRONG has been hating on the Eagles since the 2018 Super Bowl Season.Ā  He said Nick would fired by mid season and the Eagles would come in 3rd in the Division.Ā  He also kept downplaying Jalen all year and the Eagles Success.Ā  He also said Saquon was a bad trade and he will bring "Nothing" (His words) to the Eagles.Ā  Ā His Chiefs fandom clouds his commentary.Ā  Now his beloved Chiefs got spanked in the Super Bowl.Ā  NO 3-PEAT ON OUR WATCH!.Ā  Oh yeah, the Chiefs will probably never be in position again in our lifetimes.Ā  I hope his co-workers take it to him today.Ā  Ā

Quite a day for Cooper Dejan.Ā  A rookie playing in a Super Bowl, has a pick 6 on a generational QB and to cap it off, it happened on his birthday

Him and Quinyon Mitchell must be thinking this NFL lark is a doddle.

Winning is everything but it's been such a lot of fun to see those 2 come in and just dominate all season.Ā

Long may they continue as EaglesĀ

Sweat and Milton played themselves into massive contracts tonight. Baun has been a stud all year and as we know will command top dollar. It’ll suck to lose one, two, or all of those guys but hopefully Howie can make it work.Ā

You can't lose all them, that wouldn't make any sense. We have 25 mil under the cap right now and that's not including the annual raise of the salary cap which was already announced as 10 mil minimum and no more that 20. Then theres's restructures/cuts that need to take place. 2 of the 4, at minimum, need to come back.Ā

Happened upon this fool on YouTube, what a complete stump.

I know talking heads are in in for clicks and likes, but most of the media didn't give the Eagles a shot.

Hope they're all choking on humble pie now.

They’re unbeatable when they play their A game in all three phases. We were all waiting for it and it felt like we got that the past two games when it mattered most. This offense is good enough where if you win the turnover battle, it’s more than enough. Their ability to force turnovers in key moments is what I’ll remember most. They couldn’t buy any of that last year and they couldn’t get one when it mattered in SB57. They got it last night and never looked back.Ā

I think in the days to come what we can’t overlook and forget is what we did to this Chiefs team. People will now say "oh but the Chiefs weren’t that good this yearā€. They were 1.5 point favourites, going for a 3peat and had lost 1 meaningful game all year. I heard people say before the game that KC was a better team than when they beat us 2 years ago. So loser analysts will no doubt try and down play our win but none of us should forget.

Good morning 2X SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!

I'm getting nothing done at work today.

I started watching the Eagles when they had punishing defenses and I've gotten s bit tired of how the NFL has changed to give so much advantage to the offense.

So it was just beautiful to see a really good team get their asses handed to them in such a fashion.

Hopefully this is just the start.

They had no answers for anything our DL did. I’m honestly shocked.

Everyone knew the left side of their OL was their biggest offensive weakness going g into this game. Did they just decide to wing it?

They had no backup plan, no adjustment that I could decipher.

Sounds like an AR game plan, honestly

It was 34-0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. 40-6 with 8 minutes left in the game.

The Eagles pulled theirs starters in the Super Bowl.Ā

This was one of the biggest beatdowns ever.Ā

BS that isn't it.

Eagles since the bye were hands down the best team in the leagueĀ  but KC were still favoured.

They're a bloody good time that knows how to win

Ā

THAT'S how good the Eagles were.Ā

It was a complete beat down. To pull your starters in the Super Bowl is the ultimate move. The starters aren’t getting rested for next week! 😊

Last time, Darrell Green had to present the trophy to us. It would have been so awesome if John Mara had to present us with the one last night lol.Ā

I loved the Mailata pick from the moment it was made. I'd never heard of him but I thought the gamble was an excellent one. Two seventh round picks to choose a dude with the physical tools to be an all-time great. His workout videos were stellar. (I'm not talking about his rugby highlights.) The way he moved. The knee bend. The athletic ability. The SIZE. Oh my god. It was all there. Sure, it was going to take time to mold it. And there was no guarantee it was going to work. But they gave up almost nothing for a chance at greatness.

Holy Cow. What a move that turned out to be!

Howie has a golden touch with his pivot move when the first one doesn't workout. He's done it time and time again. If Howie's first moves worked out every time this team would not be where they are.Ā
