So funny how it's an off the LB that made such a difference, so many fans ripped Howie for years over his view of the LB and rightfully so. But that's the move that transformed the defense to be a complete cohesive unit. Fans should feel vindicated and hopefully now Howie finally saw the light with the position. But Howie really can't get all the credit for Baun. Vic is the one who switched his position so he really gets the credit. Howie really had a stroke of really good luck once he botched the Jefferson miss.

The best Philly team ever. Them or the 83 Sixers. I’ve never seen a team with such swagger and confidence. They knew they were going to win all week and they delivered. I still can’t get over the utter beat down they just put on a team that lost 1 real game all season and have that QB and that coaching staff. Unreal. They met the moment in every way and the two biggest games of the season played their best performances.

Gotta bring Baun and Williams back at all costs.

As the game went on, it got crazy and gleeful of course.... but the big thing for me was her dad got up on several occasions demanding aggressive high fives just like the first time around.  I've not talked about this on the board but he's been really sick battling a chronic disease that has had him in and our of hospitals all year long.  (Quite a few times we thought he was leaving us.)  For the past year he's lived in a chair trying to manage the pain.  But yesterday?  For a few moments he was that big, strong and crazy Irishman who both brought me in like his own son and yet also scares the ever living s*** out of me.

Milton is getting 20 to 22 a year. He ain't coming back. Ojomo will replace his production and we will get a 3rd rounder as a comp pick. 

 

I never would have thought Sweat could get us a 3rd round comp but it might be possible.
