It's a nice feeling to join the 2x Superbowl champs list.

I know people close to me who are Atlanta and Buffalo fans and you can see their pain when they know they haven't won a Superbowl.

I know a lot of Bills fans. Genuinely hope they can experience this one day.

But man is it fun to be in the 2xRings club. NOT A FLUKE

There was the missed roughing on the fumble as well, but that would not have changed the outcome, they were dominated.

Definitely roughing and he was getting held on the play as well.

It was OPI, you saw the DB’s head move. Those two calls sent a message.  No hands to the face.

And then, later, Carter punches Mahomes in the face, and there’s no call. 😂

If the Eagles struggle to bring their own guys back, the will have to bring some outside players in.

Azeez Ojulari could be an interesting name to keep an eye on.

Nolan Smith is a pass rush specialist?

I just meant not a traditional DE, he's an OLB/Edge rusher. I was simply saying they should draft a defensive end.

Yes he is and not enough of the national media know it.

I think most of the national media knows both AJ and Devonta can be #1's and are capable of having huge receiving seasons.  But the team isn't built like that.

It's still crazy to me that teams like the Rams and Bucs had more SBs than us.  Now we're tied with them.  Baltimore I can understand. They are a well run organization.

They stacked the line so heavily, it was really the only way to consistently pick up first downs and keep the clock moving.  The play that really shocked me was the dagger shot to Smitty.

The timing of that play was just pure brilliance.  It shocked me as well, and it just put a dagger 🗡️ right in their chest.

I don't think it was a surprising. Thought they would go for the killshot

@Joe Ball will tell you that Frank and Dusty are from Dallas.  Billy went to my HS in Houston.

Yeh, Frank was from east texas but moved to Irving, Dusty went to Woodrow Wilson HS, same school that produced Heisman winners Davey O'Brien (way, way back), and Tim Brown.

That kid is fast becoming a favorite of mine.   He doesn't look like he should be as stout against the run as he is.  And he's got an amazing bend, and violence to his pass rush.   His rookie year was nothing special, but wow...   he's come on like crazy and showed why the Eagles were looking at him for their first pick 2 years ago if Carter hadn't fallen into their laps.

Howie's top 3 picks since 2021 have been game changers:

2021: Devonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Milton Williams
2022: Jordan Davis, (AJ Brown), Cam Jurgens, Nakobe Dean
2023: Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, and even Tyler Steen
2024: Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper Dejean, Jalyx (Big Pimpin') Hunt

Just look at the pieces.  I've been critical of Howie... but no more.  I yield.

If Howie can continue this trend...   It's going to be tougher this year picking at the end of the top 2 rounds, but so be it.  It's a nice problem to have!

WTF are you talking about?

I'm going to keep banging this drum... we need Brandon Graham back next year.  He looked damn good last night coming back early off that triceps tear.

He would be a great, cost-effective option in the EDGE rotation considering we will probably lose Josh Sweat.

Come back BG!

Sure, I'd sign him up for a couple million.  Can't pay him $4M tho. Give him 10-15 snaps a game and he's still effective. His body is probably feeling good from off time this season as well.

Agreed, had to throw it. They sold out to stop Barkley (and they did a good job), props to Kellen Moore. Liked that he start getting Barkley outside on swing passes. Nice adjustment.

Nah.  They actually did a bad job, because they sold out to stop Barkley.   They left themselves way too vulnerable to be torched elsewhere.  And, even as they bottled him up... he still got yards on them.  Nearly 100 total yards anyway.

this was me

I'm no expert but it sounds like an LSD trip or something.

Once I had too much NyQuil and watched my Mini Cooper turn into a giant summer squash.

Schedule is going to be ridiculously hard.

I don't think it will be as difficult as some think.

People worried when the opponents were released because it had the Vikings, Packers and Lions on it. I said for weeks and weeks that the Vikings and Packers were both frauds, they hadn't beat any good teams this year at all. We beat the Packers twice this year. People also saw the Rams and thought, oh no a good team. We dominated them twice this year. Commanders had a good season, we beat them twice including a dominant NFCCG. We would have won all 3 if Hurts didn't get knocked out of the game by a cheap shot.

So next year's 17 games:

Giants, Cowboys, Bears, Rams, Broncos, Raiders, Packers, Vikings, Bucs, Chargers: 12 wins right there.

The other 5 games are the Commanders, Lions at home, Chiefs and Bills on the road. I'm confident they'll beat the Commanders twice, but let's say they split. Chiefs will want their revenge, the game will likely be a different feel but Eagles have proven to beat them the last 2 times they played them. Bills and Lions will be tough. But that's a 13 or 14 win season, and if they continue the way they have, these other teams should be scared of playing them.

They will win the division and the #1 seed and appear in the playoffs next year, likely repeat.

I keep playing this on the alexa and I think my wife wants to suffocate me with her thighs...

And they will be taking every team's best shot all year.   It's going to be tough to repeat as division champs, but that's ok.  They just need to get into the playoffs dance next year and they'll still have a shot at the repeat.
