Here's my very early offseason take:

Becton - gone, cost and knees, not sure about longevity. They have Steen and Keegan, what they need is to find Lane's eventual replacement.

Rest of offense pretty much returns.

Sweat - that game priced him out of Eagle plans, and he's peaked, gone

Williams - same as Sweat, really good next to Carter, but any team that pays him to be their #1 DT will end up disappointed.

Baun - tough one, how much is the player, how much is the scheme, can't pay him elite money off one season,

Carter - Davis - Ojomo/Booker, Young need a 3-4 DE type, maybe backup NT, Huff should bounce back as pass rush specialist, need another pass rusher

Hunt - Dean - Trotter - Smith, Burks? If they let Baun walk, need more athleticism, Van Sumeran?

secondary set, Ringo will replace Rodgers,

With Hunt and Smith as starters, more like a classic 3-4 defense, I think if they add a pass rusher, it'll be in their mode, and Fangio will use more exotic rush packages with OLBs who can drop into coverage on a regular basis.

We’re not losing all 3 between Becton, Baun, and Milton. Milton and Baun will be back IMO.

Baun will be back, no doubt about it. I think they choose Becton over Milton.

This Dline class is stacked while the Oline is the weakest in recent memory.

Gang Green stays together for the foreseeable future. Not even a debate here. Money is there. I'll even try to keep Burks and give him a nice bump.  Make it happen Howie.

So just let everyone walk?

No, bad idea. You can’t bring back everyone of course, but we should absolutely try to keep some of these pieces together. There’s no way we are replacing 4 high end starters through the draft and with cheap free agents.

We have a window to win the Super Bowl right now. Chiefs are weak, Bills are a one man team, Ravens aren’t at our level, even the Lions will probably take a step back.

Got to bring back 1 or 2 of our big 4 and go for the repeat.

Good Morning Football, Peter talks about running into Vic Fangio roaming the stadium after most people left. Peter congratulated him. Fangio said "It doesn't validate anything, I've always been coaching, it's an amazing moment..." Peter reminded him what an accomplishment it was, dominating the Chiefs/Mahomes, etc. Fangio said "I've been coaching in the NFL since 1986. This is my first Super Bowl victory."

He was just reflecting on his career. Pretty cool.

I'm feeling less and less confident that they re-sign Milton.  Dude is gonna get paid a lot and most likely overpaid.  He's a good player, but he's also a product of Jalen Carter's presence.

But have you orgasmed?

I got "you're drunk and I need to wake up early."

Baun had a better season at MLB than I ever remember Trotter or any other Eagles linebacker having. So the last 20-25 years. You have to bring him back.

If we have the choice of Baun or both Williams and Bechton. Baun is the pick in a heartbeat.

So...I was in San Diego back to back weeks in mid January, and will be headed back a few more times this month through the end of March...in downtown SD, and especially on Coronado Island I think it there is a dress code that requires yoga pants for the female residents. This is all they wear, it's crazy.

The best part? Most of them actually have the body for it and can pull it off, unlike a lot of women in the south...

That’s just because you are in Dallas.  Plenty of women that have the body for it on the Gulf coast.

Why should we be excited for this news?

He's not taking Christian Parker, Clint Hurtt or any good defensive assistants as DC

Just saw this, Jalen Hurts is the first QB from the 2020 class (Burrow/Tua/Herbert/Love) to win a Super Bowl.

He's the first QB to win a SB since the 2017 class

I think we may lose BG, Slay, Milton, and Sweat. I cant see Becton and Baun leaving. They literally resurrected their careers here.

The EMB (the old EMB), had been such a big part of my daily online life since around 2000 or 2001 that when Dave made the announcement that they were shutting it down, I hadn't even finished his statement when I had already begun planning what would need to be done to move/save the board for whoever wanted it saved. No way was I going to just let it fade away with a whimper without even trying to do something about it.

It's for moments like last night (and really, every gameday, every training camp, every draft, every CVON argument) that I (and many others here), wanted to save what could be saved.

So after last night's victory, I want to announce now that I'm hiring someone to make the board even better, his name is Edwin ... err... never mind.

If anyone that went to the game or had a Super Bowl party (or whatever) has video that you'd like to donate to the board's YouTube channel and you're ok with giving the board copyright permission to use it, I'll be happy to upload it (as long as there isn't any NFL or other copyrighted material in there). That could help the boards channel get monetized and help keep funding going to keep the board online, it costs between $2,000 and $2,500 per year (right this moment, we have somewhere around $800 to $1,000 in the boards checking account).

Do we need to contribute more $?  Happy to do so.

He's been my #1 priority all along, but the more guys post information on here and the more I think contract, the less confident I am that he stays.

Underrated player to bring back is Oren Burks. His market shouldn't be huge. He turns 30 next month. But he was huge for the Eagles once Dean went down. He should be brought back.

I know people generally think HC jobs are rare and too attractive to pass up. But you also see coaches fail and have to go back to being coordinators.

Moore could continue being successful with a winning organization, try to repeat as SB champion again, and wait for a better HC opportunity in a better run organization. These guys need to set themselves up for success as well.

I don't disagree but Moore has been passed on so many times already. If the report is true and he has assurances to account for the cap/roster situation it makes sense to take the opportunity. He even could be a two time HC and blame everything going against him at his first stint.

Nah...I rarely get into Dallas proper, I go to the office once every 6-8 weeks, I go to the airport once or twice a month...I live in an edge suburb that recently grew from 10k to 25k people. I do not discount that there are more fit women near the coast, but there aren't more, not even close, than the amount of fit women that are in SoCAL. They are just different there.

Unsung hero... Burks! That man came in and did his thing. I was certain Reid would try to exploit him in some way. Giving that man his Valentine's Day flowers for stepping up when it counted most.

It makes sense, but at the same time I'm completely biased after my team won the SB so he should stay and help us win another. :smoke:

Speaking of music and being part of a WW Crest family this is pretty awesome!
