I just meant not a traditional DE, he's an OLB/Edge rusher. I was simply saying they should draft a defensive end.

My pipe dream is Shemar Stewart, but his performance at the Senior Bowl has moved him up close to the top half of Round 1.  Walter Nolen isn’t a DE, but adding him could allow Hurtt and Fangio to use Carter on the outside in some snaps.

This was just such an incredible sequence. Might have to put that on the Eagles Defense Mount Rushmore, next to BG’s strip sack.

That's when I knew the game was over, and there would be no miracle comeback. I was shocked at that sequence. I had the same reaction as the Philly Special TD. I knew the game was over. After that, everything was gravy. I sat relaxed and just cheered, never a doubt.

I was relaxed and just cheered from the coin toss onward.  Not sure why I was so calm, but I was.  If I have to blame anyone it is impossible to differentiate between Fangio, Saquon, and Howie.

Oddly enough, the ones that ran their mouths the most all season long are conspicuously quiet today.

I was at my grandmother's funeral this morning and then went right to work. Every one of us has said what needed to be said. Those guys werent wrong at all, but at this point you can say that none of those gripes matter.  It can be ugly. He can hold back the career numbers for all of our pass game options, and have fans doubt the OC every year, and want the HC fired blaming him for a terrible offensive scheme. And.... you just have to roll with it because now, hes proven that he can win the big game. And he elevates his game when the biggest games come around. So none of the complaints, despite their legitimacy, matter.

So if Kellen goes to New Orleans…which eagles qb is he trading for and what is the comp?

I’m not paying Milton Williams $21.25M a year

They drafted Williams.  They can draft his replacement.  Have to trust the process.

I don't think they can afford us lol

Yes you were, and it's gonna be a long time before you live it down, HazeltonRTK.

You have to remind me? Lol

It brings a smile to my face knowing Jalen Carter got away with ****-slapping Mahomes in the Super Bowl. I repeat: Jalen Carter straight-up punched Mahomes in his dope face during the Super Bowl—and got away with it. That was the icing on the cake for me. 😂

So funny that both Williams and McNeil turned out to be very good

Complaints were warranted. And now silenced.

Bleacher Report has Baun at 3 years $36 million, Williams at 4 years $85 million and Becton at 4 years $56 million.

I'm doing all 3 of those deals tomorrow.

Here are the AAVs of all the NFL Right Guards.  I don’t see Becton getting any more than Scherff.  However, Howie will include plenty of incentives based on team performance.

In addition $12 million AAV would put Becton in the top half of all NFL Right Tackles.  I just don’t see that happening based on one year of production.  I’m wish casting $8 million AAV.

Alim McNeill's recent deal should be the floor for Milton Williams. McNeill got a 4 year $97 million extension with $28 million fully guaranteed.

Not sure I could ever turn my back on my Tecmo Bowl Philly Special avi, but if I did, I think I’d roll with this.

McNeill doesn’t rotate as much as Milton.

I thought 17-0 was a fantastic start.  When Baun intercepted Mahomes’ next pass in the red zone and AJ Brown scored to make it 24-0 is when I really started celebrating and knew it was the Eagles’ day.

He is too smart to want Pickett.  He would want McKee, but I suspect they will roll with their young developmental QB, Rattler.

Howie would expect their Round 2 pick for McKee.

I f I were Howie I would be looking to sign Taylor Elgersma as a developmental UDFA.

I was pretty relaxed all week but he week felt like an eternity. I remember in 2018 the week felt like an eternity but i was just confident it was their time to do it. In 2022 felt like the week leading up to it was a blurr. Didn’t have that feeling of confidence. I was hoping they’d pull it off as opposed to feeling confident the eagles defense and team was better
