McNeill doesn’t rotate as much as Milton.

Premium positions get overpaid in FA, and some team will think they can make him a full time starter just like the Eagles did with Huff.

Not sure I could ever turn my back on my Tecmo Bowl Philly Special avi, but if I did, I think I’d roll with this.

Remember that scout that hated picking Williams?

This is the rare situation of "no one was wrong”. He wanted Alim McNeill.

I have a lot of thoughts and I’m still processing the whole thing.

I’m excited, relieved, a little vindicated for 2022. But there’s also this weird feeling of, "Yeah of course they won the SB” that I didn’t feel in 2017 and wouldn’t have in 2022.

2017 was lightning in a bottle. Felt special, but if we’re being real, I don’t think they would’ve beaten the Saints.

2022, our defense was a sheep in wolf’s clothing. Total frauds that beat up on bad QBs, exposed by even the Derek Carrs on the world. Got cupcake QB matchups on the way to the SB.

This 2024 team? Ran through 4 guys who will all be on a lot of top 10 QBs lists in 2025. Arguably top 5-10 at every position group on offense AND defense.

This is the best Eagles team of all time.

If we are being real, a team of destiny isn't stopped by a fugasi team like the Saints that year.  Don't buy into their propaganda.  You've been listening to those sore losers way too much.

Any guess on comp picks this year?  I know free agency hasn't started.  I'm hungry for the off-season.  I'm still enjoying the win . Always have my eye on the future as well.

Alim McNeill's recent deal should be the floor for Milton Williams. McNeill got a 4 year $97 million extension with $28 million fully guaranteed.

I think that’s his ceiling

"Hurts never smiles, he's so stoic. What will it take to make him smile?"

I am a huge Milton Williams guy. I didn’t mind that pick cause i liked him leading up to the draft. Both players hit though. Frankly it sucks we are likely losing Williams. I like hunt and ojomo. What hurts in the offseason is huff’s contract. I feel like all that money tied up is gonna be hard to move off of

So many media STARTING their programs today talking about the Chiefs instead of the Eagles. Their conversation is more about what the Chiefs did wrong, why Mahomes failed, they'll be fine they just need to ________ this offseason, blah blah."

Good Morning Football is the one that hyped the Eagles to start, especially the defense.

Kyle Brandt likes the Eagles.

Looks like the Super Bowl boycott worked.

Yep. And most of the crew praises them often. The in studio host wore a Hurts jersey today. Kyle wore an Eagles throwback jacket.

Respect to Travis kelce’s ex partying on the field with the eagles lol

It’s a weird situation. We are probably losing Williams but it’s because we have Carter. If we drafted McNeil instead we probably don’t have Jordan Davis.

There will be other HC positions next year. Teams in better positions to succeed than the Saints. This is the correct mindset.

Tell that to Bobby Slowik.   Same thing happened with Greg Roman back in the day.   He was the hot name, once upon a time, then the shine wore off and they were both fired.   Roman never got a HC job.  Slowik was a hot name a year ago... this past year he was fired as OC.

So why was she there though? Does she hold some level of significance other than being his ex?

I guarantee we wouldn’t have Davis if we drafted McNeill.

It brings a smile to my face knowing Jalen Carter got away with ****-slapping Mahomes in the Super Bowl. I repeat: Jalen Carter straight-up punched Mahomes in his dope face during the Super Bowl—and got away with it. That was the icing on the cake for me. 😂

Shoulder pad.  But if the refs kept calling the game like the first two penalties (OPI on AJ and Blow to Goedert’s Head) it would have been a laundry fest and ruined the game.  The fact that Carter was held prior to the Mahomes hit weighed into the refs’ calculation as well.

Imagine Chiefs players hearing that at a "neutral" site.

True. But I look at it like if Bryce Huff wasn’t here and that money was available, I’m guessing the Eagles would try to bring back either Josh sweat or Milton Williams if they could get one on a solid contract. But with Bryce huff’s contract being what it is i dont think they can afford to put it into sweat or Williams especially with carter, Davis and smith contract extensions coming up in the next 1-2 years
