1995 Fangio watching Sunday Night Baseball.

I don't like that look of that Mahomes pitcher on the Twins. If he ever has a kid I'm gonna mangle him in the Super Bowl.

Thanks.  I  couldn't remember.  Was to lazy to look up. I'm sure they'll get a few next year.

I had to watch that a couple times to see what you were saying.

Omg once I saw it...it was damn funny.

More than a little scary.  This is obviously done for humor.  But there are a lot of dumb people out there that will quickly believe anything they see/hear

Americas Game: The 2024 Philadelphia Eagles

Bradley Cooper for Narrator?

What 3 or 4 Eagles would you have as the PoV players?

Mailata, Brown, Baun, Slay

Conversations today from Cowherd, McCoy, Acho, etc. that this game separates Brady from Mahomes because Brady would never get embarrassed like that. Mahomes was beat down and had no answers. Brady would at least make something happen, adjust, make a play, come back.

Fangio deserves to get throw out first pitch at the Phillies home opener. He’s a Phillies diehard.

My wife pointed out Kendrick Lamar’s chain was an "a minor”. Master trolling.

I feel like Tom Brady because he was never the greatest athlete and physically was never going to be the greatest quarterback so he had to be mentally tough and mentally ahead of everybody else. His clip before the Super Bowl shows you how much attention to detail and mentally prepared he was. So even when things went bad, he would be able to figure something out to at least get himself going and back into the game. I’m not saying that Patrick Mahomes mentally doesn’t have it because he is one of the best quarterbacks we’ve ever seen. He clearly does but i don’t think he’s where Brady was in the mental side of things. Granted i think mahomes is more like Lebron as Brady is more like Kobe/jordan.

I’ve never watched a halftime show in my years watching Super Bowls. Just never had any interest. If the Eagles are playing I’m talking to people about the game and not paying attention or going over stats and plays and such. And if they aren’t I’m using it as a bathroom break or to prepare more food or just chatting about the game.

Kinda like the MJ Lebron debate.  Lebron played awful in the 2011 Finals when Dallas beat them.  Really he played bad in the 2007 Finals too but nobody talks about that.

I hate talking about greatest ever myself until the players are both retired and then let's compare careers.  Mahomes still has another 10 years probably unless he gets injured badly or something.

I think you are referring to the call after the Williams sack/fumble.

The penalty was on Williams for dunking the football on the goal post.

Yup. As soon as he did it, I said "that's a penalty!" I was kind of annoyed that the announcers never really explained what the infraction was. It was actually textbook.

EDIT -- and yes, I'm about twenty pages behind right now.

Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers. Book it.

Ricky Ricardo is so good on the Spanish calls

I’d bet on everyone trying to make it a big deal just for him to retire.

This team also proves that you can't judge by things that don't matter, or believe preconceived narratives.

Don't judge coaches or players by press conferences. Reid was stoic and gave nothing. Doug said "gosh" in his opener. Siri was a bad communicator in his press conference. All 3 coaches went on to win Super Bowls.

Don't judge coaches and players persona and methods in the media. Hurts is stoic and gives stock quotes to the media. He's hype and vocal with his teammates in pre-game, locker room, celebrations. The media and fans criticized Nick, but his players all supported him, even when things were bad.

Don't judge individual stats over team winning. Hurts passing numbers, WR receiving numbers, the defense doesn't have enough sacks, combining total yards/TDs, etc. Hurts is right: winning is the only thing that matters.

Don't judge perceived drama or problems. Coaches and players have had light altercations on the sidelines (as other teams have as well), and they have always handled it and moved on quickly. Siri even had some discussion with AJ Brown in the SB and the next play went to him (was that the TD? I forget). AJ wants a trade, he's not happy, he's reading a book and checked out. Hurts doesn't look at the tablet, too stoic on the sidelines, bad teammate. Siri is just a cheerleader, what does he even do? Barkley and the team are pissed they're not going for the record, Siri's going to lose the locker room. This team has stayed together and squashed all those narratives quickly and kept winning.

How much drugs do you think he takes to get to that decision?

2017 Eagles team was a team of destiny but if we are being real, they stole that game. If it was a series or played multiple times, they probably lose overall. Right team at the right place at the right time.

This team would smoke the Chiefs in a series. For the Chiefs to win they would have had to steal one game.

I disagree. We had a better team — same thing that happened this year.

It’s why I was so confident betting 2017 and this year but didn’t bet 2022.

MJ owned everyone

Tim Duncan and Steph Curry own LeBron

LeBron has 1 scoring title. 4 players have 2 scoring titles during LeBron's career.

Mahomes fell far back behind Montana last night and Hurts took huge steps towards him by clearly outplaying him in both SBs.

Mahomes beat Kyle Shanahan 2x and got a slick field cheat. That's it. 3 is nice, but its Aikman territory.

Mahomes also hit the Dan Marino stats wall (awesome for 4 or 5 years then just in that 8-12 range for stats and efficiency)
