Get in your final thoughts on the incredible 2024 journey by then.

Why not wait til after the parade and speeches? Then start the offseason with looking forward.

I am shocked that a former NFL scout for the Jets can't evaluate talent.

To Andy Reid, aka Big Red.   Much Love Coach you a Legend but there was no way you were beating the Eagles twice in the Super Bowl, lol.  Birds for Life Andy.

I'll say it once here in the blog for my personal satisfaction, and then won't repeat it until somebody brings up the silly talking points again. Probably. Unless I feel like it.

For all those who once said, "So, what exactly does Sirianni do here?"...there's a universal response to you all now.

Nick Sirianni makes sure to credit the man who made Super Bowl LIX victory so easy for Eagles

...By the way, nice touch that the confetti is Lombardi Trophy shaped. Lol.

Will never forget his first press conference or when he had the audacity to use a flower analogy. Those were a couple of wild days in here.

What was your most important play of the 2024 season?

Toss up for me between Saquon's TD in the snow and DeJean's pick 6. Smitty's TD was up there, but I think the game was close to decided at that point.

Barkley's TD in the NFCCG also a candidate.

For me, it's easily Breadman's sack on 3rd and 2. If the Rams convert on that play or the next, they're at 1st and goal, with less than a minute left, giving them the opportunity to drain clock as they go for a game-winning TD.

That was the closest we came to having the dream end.

This is the correct answer.

Some people are so deranged.

Howie Roseman didn’t win executive of the year. For all the teeth gnashing over Barkley for MVP, that was actually the most egregious error.

I wonder if Slay is gone that they move Dejean to outside CB.

Was watching espn yesterday and Dominique Foxworth was saying he's been following him since he was a sophomore at Iowa and feels he can absolutely be an outside guy, not strictly slot.

We had already started talking about the offseason.

But I have no issue with your excellent suggestion.

I'll make the switch this weekend.

Carter sack vs Stafford as well.

Carter sack vs Stafford

There’s a lot in this quote. It is a lot cause I’d argue there’s history that can support it and history that that says that's not entirely accurate

Probably that unscripted 4th down deep shot to Brown early in the season

This.

We would be three weeks into our offseason discussion without it.

I think DeJean will eventually be a starting S who moves to slot in the 5 man secondary.

He can play outside, but is unlikely to be dominant there, whereas inside, he gives Fangio a Swiss army knife type player who can play SS, FS, NCB, zone, man.

Talk about disguising coverages, you not only have to know where DeJean is, but what role he seems to be filling.

And it gives you a lot of roster flexibility.

Unique combination of size, strength, speed and smarts.

The legend speaks

I bet Kylie and the girls trash talked Travis the whole two weeks leading up to the game.

Jalen has come a long way since college.  Here's hoping that he continues to improve as a passer.

I'd like to see the offense expand some too.

To be fair, people talk about the offseason all season

It’s very reminiscent of the falcons divisional game where mills was defending Julio and he didn’t come down with it. We remember the nfc title game and SB LII more but the season hinged on a late play in the divisional round. That sack by Carter should really be up there for plays of the season.

That Carter sack on Stafford...  if he didn't get there, we might not have advanced past the Rams.

So how do they replace Slay assuming he's gone?  Is it Rodgers? Does Ringo finally get a shot?  Do they draft another?  Free agency?

So I'm going to order one SB patch jersey. Maybe two. I don't think I want to do Hurts since I own like 3 other Hurts jerseys. If I didn't own one I probably would since he was MVP. I'm thinking Jalen Carter maybe.
