What was your most important play of the 2024 season?

Toss up for me between Saquon's TD in the snow and DeJean's pick 6. Smitty's TD was up there, but I think the game was close to decided at that point.

Barkley's TD in the NFCCG also a candidate.

Carter sack vs Stafford as well.

Carter on Stafford, no doubt. We aren't piling into Broad St on Friday without that play.

So I'm going to order one SB patch jersey. Maybe two. I don't think I want to do Hurts since I own like 3 other Hurts jerseys. If I didn't own one I probably would since he was MVP. I'm thinking Jalen Carter maybe.

Grabbing a Carter myself. Love the violence he plays with.

Wonder who the new oc and qb coach will be.

Maybe they go with patullo oc and slowing as passing game coordinator/QB coach

I do think it'll be Patullo at OC. But too exciting, but some stability at OC might be nice.

He's taking the QB coach too?

New guy has to have play calling experience, that should be a non-negotiable.

Really hoping the Patullo talk has been overblown. We've seen this movie before.

Pretty sure my section started the "We Want Wentz" chant in the 4th quarter.

I forget when it was exactly, either late 3rd or 4th, but the broadcast picked up the dumb Chiefs Indian chant. I really hope that was Eagles fans sarcastically doing it.

Pshhhhh, Nike already showed us a girls flag football player do the same thing!

That commercial was laughably bad.  Any flag football league I've ever seen, the play is instantly blown dead as soon as you spin.

It's dumb that they still lump edge rushers into LB. Not a single true ILB makes more than $20M a year.

The NFLPA doesn't care about that, they want to make it as expensive as possible so that teams don't use the tag.

lol...it was Eagles fans. The Chiefs fans were very subdued from very early on.

He's taking the QB coach too?

I give Moore credit. He emptied the chamber, stayed focused, and brought it home his final two games. He’ll always be cool in my eyes. Gannon can learn a thing or two from him.

You can't spin when you're running with the ball?  When I was 12 I was on a flag team (we didn't have youth tackle) and spinning was the go to in traffic.

Jake Elliot redeemed himself in playoffs, specifically the snow game where it was an impossible field to kick and Superbowl. Yes, he was frustrating as all get out, but he gets a mulligan for his almost hall of fame career and being money in clutch spots. Those are the ones you remember. It overrides everything. Missing too many extra points is probably a fluke and a one off. He earns another year here. There will be no real competition if I had to guess. Nobody talks about Mann. But he's been terrific. Howie aced that one too!

I know people realize the score doesn't reflect the domination and some highlights skip the garbage points. But that big TD to Worthy was against our backups. Eagles rested their starters, Reid could have given his backups Super Bowl snaps. Instead they wanted to pad stats against backups and make it not seem as bad. I really wanted a bigger difference in the score.

This was the part that showed no class.  Those same backups were likely there for years when they won but didn't get much PT.  It would have been nice for them to get to take a few snaps.    I don't care about the score differential, but it showed that it was more about ego than 'doing the right thing'.  I think it was also more about Mahomes being unwilling to come out, and if he won't come out, then the rest of the starters have to stay in.    On the sidelines we saw Mahomes saying "I'm not coming out." to Wentz after his THIRD turnover.  Selfish.

I'm reading that some leagues do allow it, but leaving your feet is against the rules.  All I remember is that, if someone did a spin, we grabbed them and pulled their flag.

Watching Wentz get smashed would have been the 17th layer of icing on a damn good cake.

I agree... but that's the rationale.   They have no incentive to change it.

I actually respect Mahomes for that. He got his ass kicked but was going to go down with the ship. He has enough credibility to call his own shots there and wasn’t under any obligation to tap out.

Reid made the correct call of keeping Mahomes in and piling on garbage time points.

You.  Again.  Maybe one of these days you'll stop crying about it and realize that we are just as happy as you are with this amazing win.

@HazletonEagle Man what an embarrassing couple of days for you huh? Superbowl MVP... it's okay you'll get through this.. @Mike030270guess you could be invited to this too. How did Hurts and Mahomes stack up with each other or you wanna act like an arrogant **** some more?

(Yes I bet the over)

Funny story - a guy 3 rows behind us claimed he bet $120,000 on the over to win $250,000. So when the Chiefs were "driving" down 40-6, he was amped up. Mahomes threw the TD and the guy wet nuts pouring beer all over himself. We kept yelling "dude, there's a flag!" but he went wild. Then he realized the play was coming back and almost started crying.

When they did score a couple plays later, he just started yelling "I'm out of beer!"
