Would you honestly take any of those players over Hurts knowing you can't trust any of them outside of Burrow in the playoffs? I would take 1. Mahomes 2. Burrow/Hurts ...... rest don't care. Lamar, Herbert, Allen all regular season qbs and poop in the playoffs. Daniel's too soon to tell

With the other 52 players already on this team?  Sure.

It was easy for folks to project Saquon succeeding behind a better OL here in Philly.

Why not the same for QBs going to a team with better protection and weapons?

Go back and read what I wrote. I put the blame on hurts and I put blame on Moore when their pass offense struggled. There’s far too many people that wanted to give blame on only one of them and not the other when things were struggling. It’s why I said after the Carolina game that Moore and hurts need both get their crap together with the passing game because you don’t wanna waste this opportunity that they have in front of them.

We gotta stop with the "would you take Burrow, Allen, etc. and what would our record be" scenarios. For better or worse, Howie builds this team around Jalen's strengths and weaknesses, and Nick designs the offense around it. Hurts threat as a runner impacts the entire running game -- Barkley isn't the same if Burrow is here. Allen and Lamar would be similar for sure. We run pass concepts for deeper, outside the numbers throws to play to his strengths. AJ and DeVonta excel at the things Hurts does best -- I know Smith is tough, but he's not a guy going over the middle all the time. Hurts being the QB massively impacts roster construction, and we have found a way to turn it into a winning formula.

Said another way -- we just curb stomped a "dynasty" in the Super Bowl. Be happy.

Because some players have a certain unquantifiable quality when playing in the biggest games under the brightest lights. Hurts has proven over and over again he is at his best in those moments. He's as clutch as they come. I'll take that over a slightly stronger arm every day of the week.

I'm still riding that LII euphoria.

2 Super Bowls in 7 years, with new coaches and all new players except 4.

I remember seeing the Ravens do that although same coach, new roster and within 10 years.

And this team is built to repeat. I think they will.

MVP!

Idk who follows what on Twitter, but has anyone seen this Jason Kelce stuff? He is catching a lot of heat from eagles fans and Kc fans/Taylor swift fans about the post he put out. This whole time he was playing both sides of the fence and it seems to be backfiring…I wish he would have come out and showed more support for the eagles and the fans, but I get his brother plays for KC…just feels like he’s having a little fall out with eagles fans on twitter

I hope this doesn't mean we have to wait until the next Dynasty rises to win our next Super Bowl.  How about we start a Dynasty instead?  I mean beating the 3 Greatest Coaches and 3 Legendary QB's of All Time in the NFL Championship/Super Bowl is a huge deal.  This Franchise has stopped not 1, not 2 but 3 3-Peats Shouldn't the Dynasty powers finally now transfer over to us? LOL.

Still riding that LIX euphoria!

But the draft nerd within has been looking at college highlights, mock drafts, and toying with mock draft simulators for months now. Harmless addiction I suppose lol

My guys for 32 sadly look to be moving up the first round. EDGE Shemar Stewart and DT Walter Nolen now look to almost be out of reach without a decent trade up. DT TJ Sanders and EDGE Landon Jackson draft stocks seem to be rising too. Initially thought of a mid to late second round pick for Sanders and mid second for Jackson, both seem to be climbing into late first round consideration. My hope is one of them will be there at 32.

Other EDGE/DTs to keep an eye on if staying put at 32:

EDGE Kyle Kennard

EDGE Princely Umanmielen

DT Derrick Harmon

Landon Jackson slid after the senior bowl.  Teams concerned he didn't look as good out wide as he does when line up over the DE.

To me,  looking him up over the DE fits what we need, replacing Graham.

Mahomes is obviously the better QB, but I think Hurts would have performed better in KC’s offense Sunday. His penchant to take off whenever was something KC was sorely lacking.

Mahomes on the Eagles wins a game just fine when we score 3 offensive TDs and technically needed 0 of them

Honestly, with what we have seen this year from Nolan, Hunt and Ojomo, I'm ok with letting Sweat and Williams get paid elsewhere. If Sweats knee scares off teams, then maybe another 1 year deal makes sense. BG gets to decide what he wants to do. My offseason hit list:

1. Extend Jurgens -- get him locked up so we know our cap numbers going forward. Keeping this line together is the priority.

2. Pick up Davis' 5th year option. $11.5mm isn't a bad deal for the 5th year, and you see another year before making a decision. You also keep Carter, Dean and Smith happy for any upcoming extension decisions.

3. Approach Slay about a pay cut. There's no way we are paying Slay $16mm cash for next year. If he is willing to cut that to a more market deal for a guy his age (~$8mm), then let him finish his career here. If not, he's a post June 1 cut.

4. Bye Bradberry. I'd hope we can use a post June 1 slot on him and defer $7.7mm to 2026 (total hit $10.8mm).

5. Goedert -- you just can't pay him $15.5mm in 2025. Like Slay, if he willing to take a pay cut, maybe a short extension with non-gteed money, then OK. If not, you have to cut him and draft a replacement. Can't count on him staying healthy.

Now to the FAs...

6. Baun -- I still doubt Howie does it, but this is the guy I prioritize first. We draft OL and DL well, but we really suck with LBs. Baun is the chess piece that makes Vic's system go. Find a deal at 3-4 years.

7. Becton -- this will come down to price. Steen could step in, but Becton is a unicorn. I could see a team throwing big tackle money at him.

8. Burks -- bring him back on a cheap deal till Dean is ready.

9. Rodgers -- another one I'd bring back on a cheap deal

10. And here's the controversial one...what's Haason going to get paid? 1 year, $6 million? Make him the new BG if BG walks.

I agree that Baun is top priority… and I also think he is going to want to stay. He knows he’s a Vic Fangio creation, and he seems to have the kind of personality that would be grateful for that. He’s going to get paid well either way.

I don’t agree with your last suggestion… I don’t think I want any part of Hassan Reddick here anymore.  Something tells me he might’ve been part of the reason for the funk last year.  He’s just got a screw loose someplace, and I don’t want him disrupting the chemistry they built this year.

This is somewhat of a fair statement, he has been clutch in two postseasons. I wouldn't stretch it and say over and over again, that is a bit misleading, he has played extremely well when he has gotten to the CCG and SB, absolutely. He has also had mediocre regular seasons and is not a top 5 QB.

At the end of the day he doesn't have to be, put him with the right pieces and a great defense and you win Super Bowls...just enjoy it fellas!

Yup i figured they’d have a list and already reach out to them. This was different cause Gannon basically screwed them

Carter on Stafford, no doubt. We aren't piling into Broad St on Friday without that play.

Grabbing a Carter myself. Love the violence he plays with.

 You mean, LIX?

Nope. I love what Kellen did with that new golf tour.

Could be off to NO if he doesn't get it here. But that might be his agent creating leverage

No one was running on that defense Sunday...definitely not Hurts.

That commercial was laughably bad.  Any flag football league I've ever seen, the play is instantly blown dead as soon as you spin.

What? Why? It's not a form of flag guarding, if anything it probably makes it easier to grab a flag on a spinning player.
