So what Super Bowl apparel or memorabilia has everyone picked up so far?

I went with 2 shirts, a hoodie, and a cooler dejean jersey since I think the pick 6 won that game…I’ll also pick up the commemorative sports illustrated if they still make that…

I’m also taking my nephew to Saquons football camp this coming July, paid some extra money for a meet and greet, hoping I can get some Super Bowl gear signed

I get that Thuney is their second best OL (after Creed) but never understood the move to OT.  I realize he’s a rookie and for some reason they have him backing up Taylor, but what’s up with Suamataia?  I had him on my draft board for swing OT for the Eagles with an eye towards starting when Lane retired. He needed refining but how bad can he be?

Too raw would be my guess, but they mismanaged their OL all season.  Wanya Morris started at LT the first half of the season; they decided he wasn't good enough, to the point they kicked Thuney out there.  They decided that wasn't a good idea and brought DJ Humphries in -- but he was likely washed or not healthy -- so Thuney went back out to LT.

They likely would have been better off giving Morris some TE help, but that isn't how they roll.

Taking that Super Bowl stroll wasn't he?

I got those a couple of times...it's been so long ago I don't even know where they are now...so old they didn't issue the game on replayable media.  They sent out still pics chiseled in stone delivered by dinosaur.

The "clutch gene" thing is hard to define most of the time. We didn't really know Stafford had it until he got the hell out of Detroit.

That said, I think Allen and Lamar don't have it. Allen is 4-1 against the Chiefs in the regular season, 1-4 in the playoffs. Lamar had probably the best roster in the AFC and didn't even make it to the AFCCG.

How many times did the talking heads lament how unfortunate Allen and Lamar have it - great QBs annually blocked by Mahomes' greatness. Now what?

Allen should be 2-2 at least

It wasn't his fault the defense gave games up at the end

I know not every circumstance is the same, but I hope they don’t just blindly promote from within for the new OC spot like they did in 2018 after Reich left. I think that was a little different because McDaniels pulling out of the Indy job screwed everything up as far as trying to find a replacement for Reich so late in the cycle which is why they settled on Groh.

I don’t know enough about Patullo’s potential, but this is a very coveted, king-maker position and they have a lot of leverage to interview the best and brightest. Any modicum of success is pretty much a guaranteed path to a HC job within a year or two and I’m assuming they will have a lot of options.

Totally agree — especially at RB.

I’d go so far as to say I’d take Hampton in the first if he fell to us.

He’ll be there, and eww. No.

My son wants a SB hat. I see there’s a Suoer Bowl Barbie. I might get that for my daughter. For LII, I bought some alleged confetti from the game and bought the SI. I’ll probably just frame the SI from this year or the commemorative cover they sell online.

If any books come out of this, I’ll get those too.

I love Nolan, but he’s going to go in the top 20 in my estimation.

Not only is he insanely talented, but the NFL already values DL, and the copy cat league will go full effect on trying to build dominating lines on both sides of the ball.

We might even need to take TJ Sanders at 32 if we want a penetrating DT. These DL are going to FLY off the board.

I wouldn’t go DT at 32 other than Nolen.  The depth at Edge is too strong, and if they need another DT both Day 3 and Free Agency are better resource optimization IMO.

Yup...I like the jerseys with the SB patch. I bought a Foles one back in 2018 for my daughter, but was caught off guard by waiting two weeks to get mine. They actually sold out and never restocked.

No apology necessary, those are facts. I said it last offseason, I fear a complete rebuild is near...and necessary.

If I were you, I'd be embracing it.   What is worth fearing is the delusion that they can still compete without taking the step back that they need.   Sometimes you need to strip it down to the studs and start over.  Patches only last so long.

I bought a Saquon Barkley jersey with the Super Bowl patch prior to the Super Bowl.  I got the championship t shirt and hoodie after.

Oh great… Just what we need. Now everyone’s going to start thinking the NFL’s campaigning for the Eagles to keep winning because it makes money.

Well…I guess you’re either the hero, or you live long enough to become the villain.  That is how the old saying goes… And it’s very true when it comes to how the overall NFL fanbase views the league and the individual teams.

Several of the OL didn't do much more.  The whole team seemed to have given up completely by that point.

Last year it was reported that some defensive players said there wasn't accountability. The GA Dawgs came from tougher coaching and higher standards. Hurts recently said in two separate interviews including after winning the SB, he credited the team culture to the Georgia Dawgs and that it spread among the others. They have praised Fangio's coaching and old school toughness.

This is a pretty cool clip.

Yeah, they picked the best known city to associate you with. I grew up in a place called Riverdale in Maryland, which was only about 15 minutes away from D.C. So when I was in the Army and people asked where I was from, it was always just easier to say "just outside of Washington, D.C." because they'd know where that was.

There is no Riverdale nowadays, it’s Riverdale Park (again).  But the MARC station is still Riverdale.  South Central PA folks know where Riverdale is.  I worked with a few folks that lived down that way. The only reason I know they changed the name because of a work colleague ****ing and moaning about the name change, must have been close to 30 years ago.

Most folks don’t realize it but the Baltimore -Washington Parkway (MD 295) is a national park and the best park part of it (with decent trails) is Greenbelt National Park just north of Riverdale (whether Riverdale Park, East Riverdale or Riverdale Hills).  I imagine you probably spent some time in that park through the years.

Now I have to ask, since you grew up in Maryland, I assume you learned to drive there.  Since moving to VA, have you learned WTF a turn signal and a rear view mirror are for?  Frankly, I am surprised for cars bought in MD that they even bother installing those.  (Thirty years of commuting into Baltimore may have had an impact on me.)  jk

Yup.   The Eagles are right up there amongst the most hated franchises.  And we are right there likely because of the fanbase's reputation.

No one like us.  We don't care.
