No take the bait

this is our super bowl blog.

You should make a separate thread discussing your obsession with me. There are plenty of others who would join you and make it really interesting.

Heard it mentioned somewhere that KCs defense is ranked 21st since week 8 this year. Not sure if true, but interesting.

It's insane that Giants let him out the door. He says all the right things and does everything great

I had to slow that down because it looked like he was blocking 3 Fing people which seems impossible

They haven't exactly played high powered offenses the 2nd half of the year

Femi Oladejo (UCLA), plays LB, plays Edge seems like the type of guy Vic likes. 6’2” 260lbs+, 33”+ arms.

read about him in TDN's DE/Edge primer. Couldnt find anything to watch. Agree he sounds right up our alley.

Really frustrating how the NFL has basically every Super Bowl up on Youtube in their entirety except for the Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl.

It’s not that insane. A healthy Saquon with a new contract on the Giants and they are still no more than a 5 win team. They needed to cut bait, and they need a drastic rebuild especially on that OL.

Well, this is likely Bryce Huff's last game on the team before we trade him this off-season. He has a very tradable contract (won't give us immediate cap relief) that other teams would want. SF would obviously take him as their #2/3 behind Bosa with Floyd.

I think Huff has looked good down the stretch as a pure pass rusher, but Fangio doesn't believe in rotations or trust him so he's gotta go.

Maybe trade post June 1st, seems like the best option in our favor.

I think it's possible Lane retires.  It makes re-signing Becton a necessity.

I think Lane comes back next year

I'm not really on a 'hill', but my house is up a bit higher than theirs, so they likely wouldn't see it. Loud Speakers at 4 am blasting Fly, Eagles, Fly! is a possibility though...

Or maybe something like this over my house?

If I were the Giants GM/owner...what I would have done...at the time, before Barkley had this season...and now, with the power of hindsight...are one and the same.

I would have let him walk...amidst great fanfare.  I would have said he was a Giants great and a HOF RB.  I would have said that the team is not at a point in its life cycle where paying an all-pro RB in their prime top dollar makes sense for either the team or said RB.

You take some heat up front for acknowledging your team isn't ready to compete, but you are protected when Barkley goes on to have a historic season.  The most insightful Giants fans are happy for Barkley and his success this year, but they aren't actually pissed the Giants let him walk.  They are pissed the Giants couldn't provide the right supporting cast for him.

They seem better than that but I don't know the numbers. Spags' defense has a tendency to have big plays a big moments though.  As much as everyone likes to talk up Mahomes he's arguably just as responsible for some of those close game wins.

If Jordan Mailata said anything at all to me, with that much conviction, I think the only response is "Yes sir."

@Joe Ball

Why didn't they repaint the field for the East-West Shrine game?  Those kids shouldn't be subjected to that level of mediocrity in an all-star game.   Poor kids.   You'd think they'd want to portray a positive experience of the NFL to these kids.  Some of them might start to think about going pro in their major rather than be subjected to that torture.

That is hilarious!  I wonder what part of the game that is.

The reason Milton Williams will be getting his big contract from a team that isn't the Eagles.
