I think steen is also factored into their decision if that’s the route they go. Steen was a 3rd round pick. Frankly it took seumalo til year 3 to get to being a starter. I still think steen can be a good starting guard

Well, he got a shot in Year 2, but was bad, so they replaced him with Wisniewski.

Am I the only one that was happy we managed one tush push?  I love jamming it down the other team's throat.  To me it is pure old school football.  The very essence of the sport and a tribute to a part of its roots that you can only really see in rugby these days.

Those NFL fans/experts that call it unfair and want to ban it can suck donkey.  The GB President called it "a play with no skill".  He couldn't be more wrong.  There is a reason we are the only team excelling and it starts with Stout with help from that rugby coach they brought over a few years ago and it ends with our OL and especially our "prize pig" Dickerson.

In the end, I have no doubt they will find a way to get rid of it but for now I'm enjoying every single one of them.

And there was no doubt was there.

I mean they pushed them what, 4 yards into the end zone?

That sent a message right there.

This is one reason why I also think they extend Jordan Davis.  Some have said that he has not lived up to his draft status, which might be technically true.  However, neither has he been a complete bust. He is dominant against the run, and even got a couple sacks in the last couple games.  Howie may like the idea of keeping the Georgia guys together as long as possible, if for no other reason than to keep Carter happy

Personally... I don't like this idea

May be an image of 1 person, playing American football and text that says "kenny @kiiLkenny NFL removed "end racism" from the endzones and Cooper Dejean immediately turned into Devin Hester EAGLES E5 EAG TYNOLAN 33"

Everyone realizes his ability and impact. Its a problem of opportunity cost. Is the dropoff to Ojomo that great? Use the mega deal on carter after next season.

maybe we can make some room extending Jurgens and Goedert but probably not that much

I think the dropoff from Williams to Ojomo is bigger than we're making it out to be. Yes, Ojomo is a very nice rotational piece. I truly think Williams is a difference maker though.

More RAS compare when considering Ojomo to take over for Williams

Howie doesn't trade away players very often. Certainly he has done it - Wentz, McNabb, and Ertz come immediately to mind

I also think the move is Williams and Baun...  Any chance we trade Jordan Davis?

Let’s be real, Milton doesn’t play up to his timed athleticism. Never has. He’s plenty athletic, but he’s not THAT.

He’s a good player because he’s good, not because he’s some juggernaut athlete.

So Brian Dawkins is saying what many of us have been saying. Hurts has shown us what he can be. When doesn't play at that level for stretches at a time, the criticism comes because we know what he is capable of. Some still think we hate him though.

Glad I don’t have Howie’s job right now. He’s going to have to work some magic with the cap. I trust him to get it done. I’ll just sit back, watch and enjoy

Oh just STFU already, a lot of us are so sick of you and yet you still hang around like the stench of months old garbage that was thrown out too late.

Listen to him. You can literally hear the raw emotion in the man's voice. It's the sound of someone who loves his brother just as much as he loves his former team. To say he's miserable about the eagles winning is as short-sighted as when you repeatedly said Nick Foles couldn't win a ring in place of Wentz. That dude put years of blood, sweat, and tears into the team, he's not miserable about seeing them win. I challenge anyone that actually thinks he doesn't care about his former team to go back and watch his retirement presser in its entirety. Then come back and tell me with a straight face that he's miserable about them winning a ring.

You are wrestling with a pig.

Butker never attempted a place kick all game.

People in here are crazy if they don't think Eagles do everything in their power to keep Williams and Baun here. Those 2 are the most consequential free agents. If it means losing Becton, Sweat and others it's not a biggie. Defense wins championships and this is a dominant Superbowl caliber defense right now with them and will go down a notch if either one leaves. If it means Slay being a possible casualty so be it. He's on borrowed time at age 34/35 next season. Do like Ringo anyway. If you sign Williams you always maintain a huge trade piece down the line if the salary cap is an issue. Can't worry about it. Do what you have to do maintain top talent so can focus on other needs at the draft like TE, DE, RB and not defensive tackle. He's worth more than a 3rd Rounder in 2026 right now. No brainer for these 2 as high priority free agents.

I think he already knows he's not coming back on his current deal. He basically said so himself.

I agree too, just the way it was presented made it seem like he was a UFA.  He's not.

One of my Mt. Rushmore guys left the franchise and went on to win a SB elsewhere.  🤷‍♂️. Folks are taking things way too seriously.

That was a very unique situation where everyone hated what the owner was doing and the player did what he had to do and everyone agreed with the player.

I agree people are taking it way too seriously but let's not pretend Kelce is like any former Eagle.  He isn't, and while Reggie was the best, Jason reached the level of closeness with the fan base that Dawkins had.  He was them and they embraced him for it.

So sick of this guy, he better not show his face at the parade.  Never seen a former Eagle be more miserable at the team's success without them.

Baun and Williams were always the priority to me in that order. Baun is a must re-sign based on how he played this year and Nakobe most likely missing the beginning of next season. The Becton part gets interesting depending on if they view him as a future RT after Lane retires. Sweat played incredible but likely played himself into big money that they probably won't shell out between having Hunt, Smith, and a deep edge rusher draft class coming up.

Tip of the cap to Chip Kelly

Andy actually ran the play here even before Chip. One of the last years before he was fired, I think. It actually predates both of them by decades. It was first run by some college where it gets the name from, Emery and Henry.

Sure.  But, anyone with a brain should see that when it comes to his only brother... he might have some split loyalty.  Its not rocket surgery.  I'm as true blooded an Eagles fan as there is, but if my only brother were wearing the Cowboys' star, I'd be rooting for him, and I'd feel awful for him if he got treated the way the Eagles just treated Travis on the world's biggest stage in sports.  They didn't just lose, and it wasn't just the scoreboard.  Travis himself was embarrassed by this team (or more exactly, this team highlighted his lack of effort on the field, and made him look horrible).   I think there was a bit of a circle the wagons mentality for Travis after that performance.

Any chance because DE class is so deep some of the top options (Williams, Green, Stewart) fall to us?

Yes, I agree with this take.
