And is this (LIX) going to be made available to folks who ask nicely?

  (Provided I can get it done. Unfortunately, my Chiefs radio only has the 2nd half <_< )

I just wanted to shout out Devonta.  He has made so many unbelievable, wild, circus type toe tapping catches for us.  That Super Bowl catch was something we've seen him do for years.   He never complains, he always does his job when called on.   He only really made one mistake this year and that was the missed catch from Washington.  He lead in reception yards in both Super Bowls and got a great TD in this one.  That video of Jalen telling him how much he appreciated him was exactly how I felt about what he brings to the team.

Meanwhile across the parking lot the wheels have completely fallen off and all we can do at this point is laugh. Might be the worst run franchise in sports right now.

They just deliberately bring in dysfunction.  How can a franchise go from Ben Simmons to James Harden to Paul George, with Joel Embiid’s terrible attitude being a constant?  It needs to be torn down to the pins.

This is one reason why I also think they extend Jordan Davis.  Some have said that he has not lived up to his draft status, which might be technically true.  However, neither has he been a complete bust. He is dominant against the run, and even got a couple sacks in the last couple games.  Howie may like the idea of keeping the Georgia guys together as long as possible, if for no other reason than to keep Carter happy

Jordan Davis’ rather slow development may prove to be a benefit for Howie’s Cap management.  His on field production to date does not warrant a big second contract, and if he continues to develop he may end up outperforming his contract.

I think steen is also factored into their decision if that’s the route they go. Steen was a 3rd round pick. Frankly it took seumalo til year 3 to get to being a starter. I still think steen can be a good starting guard

I agree.  Steen as the starting Right Guard and Becton as the starting Right Tackle … after Lane retires.

I don't think so.  There was an interview with Fangio early in the season (or maybe the preseason) where he basically said that NT was the most important position.  You either have one or you don't.

One of the vulnerabilities of this 2024-25 team was in NT depth.  Fortunately the injury bug didn’t rear up and bite us.  I expect we will add a second NT behind Davis in the Draft … most likely in Day Three.

Yea, that was my initial thought as well, that it SHOULD be a hard position in a Fangio defense. Just odd how almost everyone thrived.

Besides Devin White.

Holy poop I forgot White was ever even on this team😮

He's the Eagles version of Tiki Barber.  He left a d the team immediately got better and won a championship without him and now he's bitter.  Took him days to even congratulate the Eagles.  The video shows how much more heart broken he is that Travis didn't win a 4th title over his former team than he had any joy for the Eagles winning.  He's a disgrace.

You are over the line.  It was arsehole-ery like this that got you banned from the original EMB.  You should be licking Jason’s shoes, not trying to take him to the cleaners.

What have you ever done that has contributed to a single Eagles win?  Nothing.  And even less than nothing when compared to what Jason has contributed. You owe him an apology.

I think the dropoff from Williams to Ojomo is bigger than we're making it out to be. Yes, Ojomo is a very nice rotational piece. I truly think Williams is a difference maker though.

An apples to apples comparison uses Williams at this time last year to Ojomo at this time this year.  Who wins?

Yeah I don't think the dropoff from Becton to Steen is nearly as drastic as Baun to whoever they would have replace him.

No question about that.

No if we cut him post June then the 9M is the final cap hit for Slay.  We'd still have to pay another player to replace him of course but we wouldn't have any more cap liability for Slay.

That isn’t what Spotrac shows

Even BVS is a question mark though. He was ST ace/FB. He didn't play a single down at LB. He's a complete unknown coming off an injury. I love the idea of having a LB/FB on the roster. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised to see him move primarily to FB. Plus, he's a RFA.

Oren Burks in the playoffs had 25 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 FF and a sack. There's a real possibility that Burks and Baun both get contract offers they never dreamt of and the Eagles are left with Trotter Jr.

LB is a huge need.

You are assuming the worst, which may not happen.  LB may be a huge need, or it may not be.  That muddy picture will clarify after Free Agency.

If your doing a mt rushmore whose your 4th.

Brooks, Tra Thomas,Bednarik???even though I view him more as a LB than a OC.

Stan Walters, shaun andrews, mathis, Runyan?

Shaun Andrews just on potential.

Just watching the game back for the first time… Man that early flag was a real worry at the time right! It definitely felt at the time that "oh it’s going to be like that again is it”.

What do you mean?  That's exactly what your numbers say.  If we release him this June the Dead Cap is 9.45M as it says right in your post.

edit: Looks like I've been misreading another website and then I read your post too quickly.  My bad...

I've been holding off but I'm going to watch it again either today or tomorrow.

You would have another 13Mil dead cap in 2026. That is not no cap liability
