Kinda crazy there is a rumor going around that the Rams might trade Stafford. 

They were the closest team to beating the Eagles.  I'd think they are closer to competing for a SB if keep Stafford and they add some pieces

I guess maybe they feel they are better off trading him and building for the future? I agree that next year they’d be better off with Stafford but maybe they feel even then they aren’t quite there?

Only defense of the offense is that they pretty much shut it down after the Devonta TD. They would have kept on scoring.

Why would he deserve one?

Thinking back on the draft class… Just in the playoffs alone:

* Mitchell had two interceptions

* DeJean had a pick 6 in the Super Bowl

* Hunt had a sack in the Super Bowl and tracked down Mahomes for a short gain on a scramble up the middle. 

* Shipley ripped off a long run, scored a TD and forced a fumble in the NFC CG.

* Trotter Jr recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff against GB. 

CJGJ wasn’t perfect this season but if you look at the personality of the defense in 2023 and compare it to this season, he’s a massive reason why they got their attitude back. That signing by Howie was more about swagger than stats and it paid off.

Yeah. It’s not to take away from Hurts, but just pointing out that it’s a pretty bogus stat to post.

I was not a fan of re-signing him. He makes a lot of mistakes on the backend, but he does make plays, throws his body around fearlessly and his energy/swagger is infectious.

Taylor Swift wasn’t booed for being Taylor Swift, Trav, she was booed by the NFL media obsession with showing her.   What other celebrity gets their picture shown so much for attending the game short of McConaughey at UT games where it has also grown old.  Not Cooper or Trout at Eagles games, not the Philly players at other teams games.  It’s overkill and the media needs to step back and should after seeing that reaction.  Let Swift support her boyfriend without the constant attention. Guy I feel bad for is her Dad.  Lifelong Eagles fan trying to support his daughter.  You know he was screaming Hell Yes in his mind every great play by the Eagles in this one.
