Eagles hold:

Round 1:
#31/32 - pending SB LIX

Round 2:
#63/64 - pending SB LIX

Round 3:
#95/95 - pending SB LIX

Round 4:
#129

Round 5:
#162
#166
#168/169 - pending SB LIX

Round 6 & 7:
None.

But, we'll see.  I'm not too worried about projecting the draft until after we know where all the picks are.   Plus, there's this one more game left.  I heard it might be a big deal.

Listening to Baldy. Calling Trey Smith the best RG in football. Didn't realize he was quite that good... Also raving about Andy's double TE set in the back field along with Hunt. Brand new formation they created for the Bills game. They scored off it twice. Just got a little extra nervous watching some of their breakdowns. Siri/Vic better have something cooked up for these guys.

Vics prevent and Siri's bubble screens aren't going to get it done next Sunday.

He didn't make 1st or 2nd team All Pro.

I don't think people realize actually how good Jalen Carter is. He isn't worried about Trey Smith and the rest of the nation will find out next Sunday.

No doubt.

But if Mahomes keeps this up and eventually gets to 7 it would be hard to deny it.

Mahomes has been in the SB 5 of the past 6 years.  I can't imagine this would continue for another 5 plus years.  Somebody in the AFC needs to figure out how to beat them when it matters.   Only one has been Burrow.

hopefully, The Chiefs see Smith as so good that they know he can handle Carter without a double team.  Could be Baldy playing them.

Oh cool, it's the "Everyone's wrong but me!" part of the movie. My favorite.

This is the first post between you and I. Looks like you addressed me first over something that had been dropped since yesterday between everyone involved. You had nothing to do with it, but decided to try to post about me for no apparent reason.

Have fun in CVON. Nothing more to say to you here.

The reason is to remind you that when so many people take issue with what you say, maybe it's time for you to consider it might be a you problem, not a them problem

Wonder if we are one of those teams.

Yea this dude is a stud in the making. Just needs to get more snaps.

C; Kelce vs. Jurgens.  2022...but closer to a push than anyone will admit.

Kelce was clearly better and playing at an elite level, but Jurgens is still great, just not as good as Kelce. Also, you have your CB positions flipped. Slay is still LCB and Q is RCB which is where Bradberry played.

Chiefs were very deliberate to plan for Buffalos QB sneaks where they have a tendency to go left.

They "stopped" them a couple of times. Kind of lol

Does Hurts always go over the left side too?

The tush push has me a bit concerned because of how well KC defended it against the Bills and the Eagles didn't look quite as good against Washington... stuffed on that 2 point conversion. I hope the Eagles first tush push is on 3rd and short and not 4th and short. Curious to see how that gets defended.

Kelce was playing at an "elite” level in 2022 Super Bowl year? I disagree. I think he even admitted it wasn’t great and part of it could have been he was injured/worn down.

Yes, he was arguably the best C in the league and playing at a level almost indistinguishable from his prime.

Ultimately, you can’t beat the will of the refs. That’s how the Chiefs are where they are. They always, always, ALWAYS get the calls they need to win.

If I was Siri I would make an issue of it in the press conference. Call them out overtly. It will get a lot of flak in the media, but thats the point:

Put the pressure on the refs BEFORE the game to not influence the outcome.

Well, keep in mind how banged up they were vs DC. The Bills also aren't the Eagles.

We agree. The only thing I'd say is the league doesn't care. They were hammered after Houston and did that vs the Bills anyway. It's a rigged league that wants a dynasty with Taylor on the field hugging him.

The Eagles have the Jets 3rd rounder in 2026 + will have 3-4 comp picks via Sweat/Williams/Baun/Becton/Johnson/Burks/Rodgers. We're going to be fine picks wise moving forward.

If there's one guy who's gonna take a hometown discount it's Becton. He loves Stout and the whole culture here. And a potential opportunity to play right tackle in near future might clinch deal. Feel like this is a great 2 year bridge deal opportunity for both sides, in case he becomes right tackle and to not over commit here. $10M per year, loaded with incentives.

Feel like Baun and Burks will get done, as Howie will finally pay linebackers like he finally paid a RB last year.

Milton Williams will be the toughest signing. Love to keep him, but with Ojomo, Davis and Booker in wait, I think he jets and we should be fine. With Carter dominating, someone will always eat on the other side with 1 on 1's. Per snaps and workload don't see paying Milton Williams huge money happening. He's most likely getting around $20M per year in this free agency where there's at least 12 teams with $50M cap space.

Rodgers, Sweat and Johnson all move on, as we get younger depth through the draft.

Not as many as you'd think.

  • Round 1
  • Round 2
  • Round 4 (from PIT)
  • Round 4 (from DET)
  • Round 5
  • Round 5 (from WAS)
  • Round 5 (from HOU via BUF)

There's no 3rd round pick, and I think Howie very much wants a pick in that area of the draft.   And let's be honest, the difference between a player at pick 32 and pick 45 is generally not that big.   So, moving out of Round 1, turning into a second this year and a future 2, maybe 1... that's huge.   And they will likely look to trade up from Round 4 into Round 3.

But, mostly, you know that Howie likes the draft day(s) dance.  He can't help himself but to wheel and deal.

Three things:

a) The 4th from Detroit is actually the Eagles own 4th which they had traded to the Lions a year earlier for Swift.

b) The 4th from the Steelers for Pickett was already conveyed last year.

c) The Eagles own their own 3rd.

As it stands now, the Eagles have 1,2,3,4,5,5,5.

Probably trading KP as well

No, he's already a contentious personality that has caused too much drama for this team. No need to risk fines, punishment, and further distractions on the eve of the biggest game of the season.

I must be confusing years. He was bad for his standards last year then, right?

Yeah he was banged up a bit and I think missed his first game in years (or maybe even ever?), so that's probably what you're thinking of.
