I think this is pretty revisionist.  Hurts did better against the blitz but his sack percentage was unacceptably high during the regular season.  He improved on that in the playoffs but it is still an issue tied to his efficiency as a passer.  He had a great Super Bowl.  He has a very high ceiling when he is decisive with the ball.  I don't think we can look at the season and say that he was consistently better than 2022.  I do think he was better than 2023 when the offense fell apart against the blitz.  He has room to continue to grow as a QB.  I think his continued growth as a passer is important for his long-term durability.  He has missed games every season because of of injuries.  He will not be able to avoid them if he has to rely on his running ability as a key component of his game.  If we get Super Bowl Hurts most of next season, it will be a great year.

I have never in my life seen what Barkley did this season, something like 8 home runs in critical times of huge yardage house calls. I hope he has two more great years and retires here into the Hall. The guy is legendary.

I never mentioned '22.  The improvement in his basic pocket mgmt came post bye '24 and in comparison to nearly all of '23 and the pre bye games in '23.

To be clear, I'm only talking about the large reduction in mistakes from the pocket.  The additional success forward in the passing game came only in the Steelers game and then the NFC Champ and the SB.  No question in my mind there was a joint decision by Sirianni and Moore post bye to try to rebuild Hurts basic pocket progressions and to run the ball while that process was underway and simply aim to avoid turnovers.

I'll say it...  This Super Bowl logo is a disgrace!

It really did feel like a Trilogy and the middle of the story is always bad.   These last 8 years of Eagles Football has been unbelievable.    

Considering Burks, Baun, and VanSumeren are all FAs/RFAs, and Dean is unlikely for camp, this is like an unprecedented off-season LB spend from the Eagles.

You’re both right and wrong…arguably his worst 2 or 2nd and 3rd worst game of the year were the 2 after the bye.  The Browns game he started horrid and the Giants game he was essentially benched on the field.  But he had QBR over 100 for those 2 games…

The next 2 weeks against Cinci (best game of the year outside of maybe the NFCCG) and Jax (Siri could have been fired for that game) were amazing.

After that it was a mixed bag…he still took too many idiotic sacks, but did throw the ball away more.  The team really leaned on their strong D and run game identity after the bye.  That was the change, not necessarily Hurts play.

Yeah, as I said it was a slow build.  I distinctly remember those games and they weren't good QB games overall but he was staying in the pocket which was the first step in the rebuild.  It was clear as day and yes he was more or less benched on the field as well which was part of the entire "tear it down and rebuild" approach.

I'm not doing anything like that. I know I'll get the full Super Bowl logo, but I'm only deciding what to do with the coloring. I would prefer not to do it with the red, but I'm thinking should I leave it open, or customize it to be Eagles green instead of red.
