The Eagles should be the away team.   Home teams for international games are the ones with 9 home games.   This year they had 9, counting Brazil.   Next year they will only have 8.

 

I just don't think that this announcement is correct.  UNLESS, the Eagles are willing to take the exception for the exposure.   And with it being that far away, it would have to be the first game of the year again, and likely on that Friday again.   I really am starting to hate the NFL's corporate structures and decisions.  

 

 

Yup... just checked it out... this is for the 2026 season, not 2025.  The Eagles could host in 2026, but can't host there in 2025, because they only have 8 home games.  

In other news... rumor is that the game in Australia will be in OCTOBER!   That makes zero sense.  It would have to be before the bye week.... but they'd really need it to also be after the bye week.   Maybe this is a weird Wednesday game... and they essentially lose their bye week entirely sitting on a plane for 24 hours one way and then 20+ hours the other way.  That's just NUTS!  

 

The NFL has lost their freaking minds.

The Super Bowl hype video is turning out exceptionally well.  5 minutes of it completed and just the final 4 minutes to finish tomorrow.

This year my season tickets went up in price and we lost a home game.

We are also hosting them next season. But glad to hear itll be 2 years from now.

Still, Australia is even dumber than Brazil. That travel time is impossible to plan for.
