    Reportedly Luka was up to 270lbs after his injury, and Dallas is very weary of conditioning with a contract extension looming. Like the 6ers should have been with Embiid.

    Been reported Luka is shocked. No one was told about this trade. It happened completely in the dark. He did not request it. Dallas actually approached LA about doing it.

    Imagine being called by a team offering you Luka.

    The compensation is absolutely ridiculous though. AD is old and over his career, injury prone. And typically prime super stars cost 4 picks, and 4 pick swaps in between. To have 1 pick involved is nuts.

    I said this feels like when the NBA had to step in and cancel the unfair Chris Paul to the Lakers trade years ago as well. Totally insane.

    Lakers getting Luka for Davis is a steal. Definitely only a one sided why IMO.

    Crystal clear that the NBA played a big part in this.  Adam Silver is a god awful commissioner and constantly meddles.  League ratings are down.  No other teams even knew Luka was available and if they did the Mavs could have got a load more than what they got.

    As said above, Mavs were worried about his conditioning.

    For the Lakers, they want a young star for the post LeBron world, plus Luka is just better than AD.

    Why Maxey and Oubre are fun to watch: they actually take it to the rim.  The 3 point shooting contest , formerly known as the NBA, is otherwise dull

    They are thinking about adding a 4 point line next season.

    At least this game is in the Eagles' market. The Brazil game made zero sense --- especially calling it a home game when we clearly were not the crowd favorite.
