It's so weird watching old film.

The first 3rd down of the game (3rd and 3), was an empty set from under-center. The free rusher basically hit McNabb at the end of his drop. If it's shotgun, he has an easy first down to the left flat.

It’s so weird we’re now referring to 2005 as old film

Losing for decades now has more to do with it than anything.  Nobody cares about a name change if the team is good.  They've made the playoffs 9 times since 1990.  Lost 6 times in the first round, 3 times in the 2nd round.  The last time they made it past the 2nd round was in '78 when they won it all.  In their history they have only made it past the 2nd round 3 times, all in the 70s.  They stink now and almost always stink.

I agree winning overcomes all.

But the Skins and Wizards have both sucked for the better part of 4 decades now.

The Wizards even had Michael Jordan briefly but couldn’t keep anyone’s attention.

Exactly.

They need to move the arc back far enough to make 3 point shooting have the same expected value as a pull-up jumper.

I would say remove it entirely

I can’t watch it any more. I rewatched after all the cheating revelations, and it was beyond obvious the Pats were cheating against us.

I also can’t take BB seriously as a coach either. He sucked before Brady, sucked after Brady. Dude wins the all time draft lottery with Brady, then cheats his way to a bunch of rings, and I’m supposed to think he’s the GOAT? Reid and Walsh lap him many times over.

I think it’s exciting and adds to the viewer experience in the right context. You want a team to be able to tie a 3 point game with a deep, desperation, Hail Mary situation.

You just don’t want three pointers to be the meta.

So back it up 5 feet or whatever.

I’m a few miles from the White House… all the fans I know are over 40 and lost substantial interest when they changed their name from the Bullets.

They will be back when Flagg is drafted there

Mavs just played in the Finals and 2 of the last 3 WCF. Luka’s defense is a BS reason

The only way this isn’t a complete disaster for Dallas is if the Mavs immediately win the championship, or if Luka retires early due to injury problems.

This has "new ownership sucks” written all over it

Actually, this has "rigged by the league" written all over it.

I don’t think you should remove the 3 point line but it’s definitely too easy.

The court in general just needs to be bigger. Point guards weren’t 6’9” 50 years ago

Hence - stars are what drives the league and there aren’t any on the Jordan, Kobe, Shaq level in their prime. There’s not even a Reggie Miller or Patrick Ewing.

I love the NBA, the shot making, the creativity, the just crazy depth of talent the league has. Are only truly a few teams that suck this year and even the those teams have talent.

I don't think people realize the actual wear and tear the game puts on players compared to the Jordan era of basketball. The jumping, cutting, the speed at which the game is played is just different, the angles in which they move. Is

The game is different than 20 years ago because all 5 guys have to be talented enough to stay on the court vs Jordan era where 3 or even 2 actually could hoop. People complain about defense in the league today but can't comprehend that the reason is spacing and just not being able to guard it.

I know I'm in the minority but is high level basketball is being played on every night. Sixers Nuggets on Friday was an awesome game to watch with Maxey vs Jokic.

Was a great game.  Figured we would get smacked but almost pulled it out, basically with no center.  Gabi showed some game so time to draft a long 5.

Huh?

They are but no one seems to appreciate the greatness of Jokic or Wemby doing crazy crap on every night because they not American.

Sure but only if tells me AJ Brown only cost Jalen Reagor in a trade because Howie did other moves that somehow negated everything else

You know what... only to be an a-hole, on my Sunday I decided to take quick look to see if there was any ridiculous tie in I could do.

Nope.  But something I was not aware of is that Raegor became Moro Ojomo, which is neat.

The 3 point line should be eliminated.  There should be no added points because you can't get the ball closer to your intended goal.   Could you imagine a 5 point field goal in football if you kick the ball from more than 50 yards?  Just ludicrous stuff.   No extra points for the ball being shot from farther away, its illogical nonsense.   OR... make a second basket, that's 5 feet higher than the 10 foot basket.   Make THAT 3 points instead of 2.  There should be no benefit for not trying to shoot from closer.

That one is definitely not going to happen.Joel Embiid would be collapsed on the floor after about 3 minutes of play. The league plays way too many games in a season as it is and players would just be injured even more.
