KC has had a good year against the run.  BUT, they did allow 149/147 in the playoffs.

KC has been very meh against TEs.

KC's McDuffie travels versus taking a side (heard this but have not verified it).  I assume he will travel with AJ and creates some one on ones for Hurts/AJ to try and connect.

The next three best CBs in the game after McDuffie play for the Eagles IMO.

Who gets Devonta?

I feel good about these matchups. Seem to play right into what we want to do.  Run, run, Goeddert, run, Brown, Devonta, run, Brown, run, Goeddert, run, run.

The slot is the mismatch because their slot CB is beyond poor and hopefully they let Devonte work it

Hope he doesn't run into Goeddert, lol.

The moment everyone has been waiting for.  The premiere of the Eagles - Chiefs Super Bowl Hype Video.  It's a classic that tells an epic tail.

He most likely of the 'big 4' free agents to go. Don't think the Eagles are in love with him as a player and can upgrade from him probably in the offseason without spending much to do it. Could bring Reddick back for pennies on the dollar or pursue Garrett if they're so inclined. Also will assuredly draft an edge in round 1 if they keep their pick.

I don’t think they can bring Reddick back yet.  I thought I heard that there was a two year wait in situations like this… (Somebody correct me if I’m wrong). But either way, no thanks…no interest

Devonta and AJ will kill it when they lineup in the slot

They couldn't trade for him this year after trading him in the offseason. Agreed. Pass

Hopefully we move them around and get them in the slot.

How is he already 32?

Just seems like the Eagles have advantages at multiple levels in this game. Hopefully it all comes together and we get the W

So sorry, I have very limited free time. Have a beautiful wife, & successful career to tend to. My deepest regrets that I can't spend my whole life here like you.

I wish the Eagles players and coaches good luck in Super Bowl.

Sure ya do

I’m pretty sure that condition is only for trades. Teams can’t trade a player and then trade back for them in less than 2 years. If he’s a FA he can sign anywhere.

I never realized how good it could feel to **** slap the GB Packers.....twice

He's just mad because he couldn't beat Detroit with all those injuries or the ghost seeing QB led vikings.

Hell they got beat by the bears at the end of the year. That's like us losing to the giants

We started their season with an L... and ended it the same way.    There's a certain symmetry there.  I think its beautiful.

Yea but he’s only played 8 seasons. By your definition he isn’t even a long time player!

Just weird he’ll be 32 meanwhile Barkley and Sweat were one draft class later and both turning 28.

Yup.  And that's part of why he dropped a bit in the draft.   He was old on draft day.  Lots of folks around here negatively grade 24 year olds in the draft.

The best trades are usually made when no one knows the guy’s available.  Harder to do that in the age of social media

That was cringy

Well, I don’t think we can afford to keep Williams.

But more to the point, if we are using a top 100 pick on a DT, they need to play more than 25% of the snaps.

If we want a NT, and a NT is only going to play 15 snaps per game, then Davis has to go and we have to find a cheap replacement.

My best guess is that Williams walks in free agency and we draft a more traditional DT somewhere in the first 3 rounds. Could even b as early as first round given the depth this class has.

From igglesblitz …

"Jamaree Caldwell is another intriguing DL. He is 6-2, 342. Why go for a NT when you already have Jordan Davis? Caldwell played NT for Oregon this year. He played for Houston the previous three years and got moved around. His Houston tape is really fun to watch. Caldwell moves well for such a big dude. He has a very good motor. I would like to see him drop down to 325 to 330. I think that would help him to be more of a playmaker. But he can still move at his current size.“

This opening night has a weird vibe compared to years past.
