Random scenario:

Eagles up 6 with a minute to go. Chiefs have no timeouts left. Eagles have the ball. 4th and 1. From the 23 yard line. 40 yard FG makes it a two possession game, essentially game over. Tush push also = game over.

What do you do? Attempt the 40 yarder with Elliott or do the tush push?

Shove. Without hesitation

It would be hard to think of another free agent that came here and became so likeable, so fast. He’s everything a Philly fan cheers for. Especially considering he came from a rival.

Tush push

FG feels like too many variables that could go wrong.

Also keeps the ball out of Mahomes hands.

The correct answer is tush push, but with Elliott under center so he still feels valued and trusted.

I first want to see if it’s a full yard or less than a yard. It seems as though when the tush push fails, it’s a full yard to go as opposed to a half yard, or inches. The two failures against the Jags were after penalties moved the try to the one, (although I do think he broke the plane on one), and the same last week. A full yard seems to come up short more. Of course there is also the risk that a missed FG gives them 7 more yards of FP.

Still, I think my decision comes down to just how close to the line we are. Less than a full yard, I tush push. One full yard or more, I’m kicking it.

Isn't it supposed to be considered a home game for Eagles?

He says all the right things but we need to be honest with ourselves that it's mainly because he's a great RB that dominated the league

Killed me when he went to NY.  Always felt that he was meant to be an Eagle.

Mailata is getting a movie done about him. Just a matter of when. He's too much of a character and also a star. The story just writes itself
