Stoutland out here quoting TLC

1. Smith's closing speed off the edge is a nice weapon to have against Mahomes.

2. After we win the SB we trade Dotson for Kupp.

What $ does the team trading for Kupp have to pay on the cap anyway?

I hope he plays and gets buried

Kupp will be reunited with Goff.

Hope he is smart enough not to give up two firsts for a guy who is 29 and maybe 3-4 years from retirement. His process is working and they are drafting well. Stick to it...especially if they win a SB this weekend. Sign a certain guy from out west for nothing and draft a young cheap DE or two. Especially with Lane maybe having one more year and needing to get his replacement in the not too distant future.

He is, he won't.  Could see him take a stab at Koonce or Browning.  Maybe Mack, but he is old.

I sure hope you are right. At least Carter is young and under control for 5 years if they are paying that many picks.

Their offensive line has SERIOUS issues on the left side. Sweat and Williams should feast.

I’d have Davis just drive the LG straight back when he’s in. He should be able to flat out win a battle of muscle every pass play.

Also move Carter to their left side, sweat on a wide angle, and the other DT directly over the center. Force Carter 1v1 vs their LG.

I like this.  I want the ends out a tick wide anyway to set the edge.

Looking like he will be covered in those hives by the time they Super Bowl kicks off.

I have regrets.  His 2017 season was magical.  Thought we had a superstar.

Howie isn’t giving up 2 firsts for anyone who isn’t a QB, so don’t worry about that.

Becton is Lane’s replacement, so we have that covered assuming we get a new contract done.

This draft will be about depth. Some new DL pieces, probably another LB, TE, but overall we are in a position to go for the best player available.

Yup… he looked like a better version of Josh Allen that season. He was unbelievable.

I mean he does have a Super Bowl ring

*since 2017-18

Eagles don’t win SB52 without Wentz teeing up HFA - I’ll always be grateful for that.

But it’s hard to disentangle that with his absolute loser energy the whole Foles run and after.

Yeah Kupp would get maybe 2 targets a game

Yep. He looked like a better, more athletic version of Big Ben. Thought he’d still be QB 1.

2019 was a great year too considering all of the injuries, but idk wtf happened in 2020

Watching some rookie prospects…So far my favorites:

DT Walter Nolan — the more I see this kid, the more I want him. The potential is just massive. Started out as a consensus 2nd round pick, but looks like draft websites are catching on, and I’ve seen him break into the top 15. Hope we can snag him.

DT T.J. Sanders — Would be a like for like replacement for Williams. Quick, explosive, maybe a bit on the lighter side. Should go around the 2nd, maybe have to trade up 10 spots or so.

DT Shemar Turner — Raw but lots of upside. Could play as a big DE. Another guy who is similar to Williams. Guessing he’s a 3rd or 4th rounder.

DE Kyle Kennard — A bit smaller than Sweat, but same length, excellent athleticism, and might be able to drop into coverage a bit with how well he moves in space. Should be able to add some weight as well and get into the 260 range. I’m guessing he’s a 2nd rounder.

DE Antwuan Powell-Ryland — Great versatility and just a fun player to watch. I think he’d fit really well into Fangio’s system because of his ability to be deployed all over the front 7. I’m guessing he’s a 4th rounder, maybe third.

DE Jah Joyner — Would be a pure developmental pick. Has all the physical tools, you can see the potential, but… he’s just not a great player yet. Day 3, I’m guessing 5th based on potential, but production has him later.

LB Lander Barton — More physical tools than Trotter jr. Excellent athlete and versatility. Can drop into space, run sideline to sideline, and rush the passer. Would love to add him to the ranks to develop as the primary backup LB… might have some Baun like potential with his length and movement skills. My best guess is 4th round.

WR Savion Williams — Admittedly I doubt we take a WR early, but good lord I want this kid! 6’4” 225 lbs… smooth athlete, great body control, acrobatic… but here’s the kicker — he is such a good ball carrier he lines up at RB and wildcat a lot. Has vision, speed, elusiveness and physicality as a ball carrier. Call me crazy, but he almost reminds me of Barkley as a runner… hurdles, spin moves, break away speed, and can finish with a shoulder or stiff arm. Get over your PTSD with TCU receivers and get on this bandwagon! Right now people seem to project him as a second or third rounder. I think he gets into the top half of the second, or maybe even sneaks into the first. Absolutely unique skill set and has super star potential in my view. If he played with a good QB, no doubt in my mind he’d be a first rounder.

WR Jayden Higgins — Big kid at 6’4” and can do all the high point, body control stuff, but what I really like is the acceleration and quickness at his height. He can run routes like a shorter receiver. Second round pick I think.

WR Jaylen Royals — Plug and play as our third WR. Can play inside and outside. Solid size and speed. Good hands, good run after catch ability, solid route runner. Really like him as a high floor/high ceiling player. 2nd or 3rd rounder.

WR Jack Bech — Another TCU kid that I really like. Big, strong, physical player with a mean streak. Really good hands. He’d be more of a role player than star, but I do think he has upside as physical slot. Excellent blocker, should develop into a key special teamer. Day 3 pick, I’m guessing 5th round. I think he’d be a fantastic pick from a roster construction view.
