That story that broke today about the Saints is messed up. KM wants to go to that crap show? They may lose even more picks and end up with a new owner. He has to be out of his mind.

The negotiation with Jordan Davis shouldn't be that difficult. Extend him to a DT3-4 contract where he can play with his buddies. If he wants more than that, see yah.

Agreed.  I don’t expect more than $10M AAV.

Here's how I think the offseason plays out:

1. Extend Jurgens -- Howie will want this done to know exactly what he is working with cap wise for the rest of the roster. Jurgens will only get more expensive.

2. Exercise 5th year option on Davis -- I think they will talk extension if it is team friendly enough, but likely just kick the can on this one.

3. Resign Becton -- Howie will prioritize the line.

4. Let Williams get paid elsewhere

5. Baun...I think Howie will make an offer, but I think he'll get more elsewhere. I think we lose him.

6. Sweat - back on another 1 year deal

I agree with your 1. 2. 3. and 4.  I believe Sweat will also get paid elsewhere and Baun will get paid by Howie.

Who did you watch Super Bowl 15, 39, and 57 with? Yeah, may want to stay away from them. With a loss the Eagles will join the other 4 Super Bowl losers: Vikings and Bills.

The Packers are 4-1 in Super Bowl games. The Pack has 9 other World Championships before they changed the name of the NFL Championship game to the Super Bowl for media reasons.

I have regrets.  His 2017 season was magical.  Thought we had a superstar.

Had he not blown out his knee, I think we'd still have won that Super Bowl and had that happened without Nick stepping in and it was Wentz instead, he might have gone on to be a 'super star' for us. But with Nick doing what he did and becoming an Eagles legend with his won statue out in front of the stadium, Wentz's ego imploded. He couldn't handle being overshadowed by his 'backup'.

I was ok with letting Nick go and keeping Wentz, though I did wished we could have kept both. But with hindsight, I wish we'd let Wentz walk and kept Nick.

Lombardi's "year one" was 1959. There never was a "streak" of 9 playoff wins in a row broken by the Eagles. The Eagles broke zero streaks of the Packers.

Still waiting on what "streaks" the Eagles broke "alla time" against ANY team? You already basically jinxed the Eagles on the possibility of breaking the Chiefs streak by guaranteeing the Eagles will do it.

2025 football season isn't over for any team.

Random scenario:

Eagles up 6 with a minute to go. Chiefs have no timeouts left. Eagles have the ball. 4th and 1. From the 23 yard line. 40 yard FG makes it a two possession game, essentially game over. Tush push also = game over.

What do you do? Attempt the 40 yarder with Elliott or do the tush push?

Brotherly Shove every time.

Would they even want Huff?

Someone said that Huff is the kind of DE that Jim Schwartz likes.

I have a weird feeling we get a pick 6 on their first drive.

The record for rushing yards in the Super Bowl, is 204, set by Timmy Smith in SB XXII, does Barkley break that?

I like the idea of adding Mack. He's not Garrett but he's still highly productive and won't cost nearly as much and is a FA. If Baun is extended, you can then look at DT in the draft. I really like the idea of Kenneth Grant or Walter Nolan. Harmon, Collins, Farmer and Sanders are some others. I'm not confident we match what Milton might get, over 15 mil per year.

Mack would help replace Sweats production while whichever rookie DE gets groomed

I'm not sure he takes the job now

Would be fantastic

Time to break the Eagles SB streak of losing odd numbered Super Bowls (15, 39, 57).. now 59.

Won Nr. 52.

Three previous championships were 48, (49) and 60…

Time to add an odd number win to the SB Championship.🦅😅

Yep. He looked like a better, more athletic version of Big Ben. Thought he’d still be QB 1.

2019 was a great year too considering all of the injuries, but idk wtf happened in 2020

Anyone see that stat that the qb on the losing side of a sb normal loses the rematch as well?

I saw it.  I guess we gotta start Kenny 2 gloves or Tanner.  Can't let the juju get us.  Mahomes is also undefeated in the playoffs against the top rated pass defense.  The Eagles should have sucked more on D.
