Maybe they should give them an extra week so the celebrity part doesn't interfere with actually preparing for the game

Game prep should be last week

I'm pretty excited about this Quentin Grimes pickup.  He's only 24 can shoot and a very solid defender.  He's RFA not UFA at end of season.  Here is what AI told me when I asked him if he's a good defender..

AI Overview

Yes, Quentin Grimes is widely considered a very good defender, particularly known for his strong perimeter defense, active hands, and ability to navigate screens, making him a reliable point-of-attack defender in the NBA; he is often praised for his defensive intensity and ability to contribute with steals.

Key points about Grimes' defense:
  • High defensive motor: Known for his high energy and commitment to playing defense.
  • Elite perimeter defender: Considered one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, capable of staying in front of opposing guards with good footwork.

  • Active hands: Uses active hands to disrupt passes and create steals.

  • Screen navigation: Skilled at navigating screens, which is crucial in modern basketball.

Maybe not the hero we wanted... but the hero we needed.

I, for one, will miss the delusional midwestern that thought he was a tough guy.

I did some research (my source) and I found out he was born in 1993.  I counted on my fingers and toes (and fingers again lol.... wait I need more toes) and sure enough he is 32

Good work.

Sounds great.  Now all the Sixers need is artificial standings and an artificial heart for their franchise player on a supermax contract.

Is it part of the CBA agreement or league rules that teams have to play celebrity and do these interviews?

Yup.

Terrell Davis' 1998 season is arguably the greatest RB season in league history.

  1. Top-10 all-time regular season total.
  2. Top-10 all-time playoff total.
  3. Highest combined total.
  4. Super Bowl champion.

Saquon already has the first two.  Is 32 yards away from the third and an opportunity for the fourth.

Lastly, he has the second lowest odds to be SB MVP, which Davis didn't get in 1998.

Only 30 away.

He's playing like this on the field too. Doesn't give full effort. Not producing in the playoffs.

Graham should take 20 of his snaps.

Hmm....

Im not sure what to think.

Caleb was a big time addition for depth for this team. If they are trading him, it seems to signal that maybe they are giving up on the idea of contending this year.

On the other hand, Grimes is kinda nice, and coming with a 2nd round pick.

It kinda seems like a solid trade for this year and for the future.

Process 2.0.  It starts now.

I'm OK with him thinking about his potential payday.  Needs to show out Sunday.

Best thing for him and for us... if he has a big game, that's good.

All they need to do is play their brand of football and have 0 gimme penalties.  High discipline and ball control run offense. Use play action to cut em up when they simp to Saquon. I have a bad feeling they lose not getting a 4th and short with the brotherly shove at the end of the game

It’s felt like a month since the title game. Feels like another month until Sunday.

I gave up being disappointed in Josh Sweat. He is what he is - a great athlete with insane length and no brain. No way I’d re-sign him. Didn’t even want him back this year.
